Has anyone ever used CEASE (bacillus subtilis) fungicide?

You can just make your own lacto serum in about 2 weeks for not much money. Should be more concentrated as well. There are plenty of videos on youtube. It's super easy.

by lacto serum you mean as in raw milk dilution for PM and other molds and mildew? also known for keeping vaginas clean? does this work on botrytis though?

after a little wondering why bacillus subtilis sounded so familiar - its because it is - its the same and only ingredient in serenade. I wonder about the concentration in comparison to CEASE.

ok, its official Serenade concentrate IS CEASE. could you post a link of making bacillus subtilis serum production i cant find any such thing on youtube.

Lactobacillus and bacillus subtilis are NOT the same thing...

Same phylum and class, but a different order.

I use a beneficial bacteria mix that contains bacillus subtilis and consider it essential to building a proper biological barrier. It can induce SAR in plants and is a great tool for bio-remediation.

In products like Serenade it is a byproduct of the bacterial activity, lipopeptides, that is actually creating a control vector as the actual bacteria cells are generally no longer living or not at least not in quantities necessary to create a sustained population.

It is for this reason, I prefer products that are applied to the soil, which can then attribute to SAR within the plant.

I'm glad you corrected me. I clearly wasn't paying attention. Ironically I use a product with bacillus subtilus in it from dragon fly earth medicine. I only use it in flower for certain weeks.

Again, thanks for the correction.

Lactic acid bacteria are a good thing to apply when composting your soil mix to kick it into high gear. I have a sticky about it in the Stank Bros sub-forum.
