I would say it's either well-established spider mite infestation or a form of fungus, but I don't see any of the darkening that would typically accompany bud rot.

Could also be a random spider web, if there's no other evidence of spider mites. If I was a spider looking for a buffet, I'd hang out where bugs like to travel, and that would include some types of plants.

If it were only a strand or 2, I'd say to check to see if your dog is shedding. :)

I've trimmed 1 whole plant and about 1/3 of that plant but haven't seen anything else like it. I was hoping it was gooey strands of resin. I was scared it was spider mites.

Just saw you discovered it was string. Thought it was awfully white, while my spider mites web was greyish.

Established spider mites like someone else mentioned. Did you buy clones from strainly??? On well established plants almost impossible to deal with especially that late into flower. I got botrytis which is about as bad from spraying late in flower. Finish grows, clean rooms out and bug bomb rooms every 4 days 4 times. On cuttings completely submerge for over a minute every few days. Once small and roots established spray with 50% water and 50% isopropyl especially bottom of leaves several times 4 days apart, and keep plants in warm area. Warmer it is quicker the eggs hatch but need to be over 5 days old to lay eggs. They have weakened plants, so will be nowhere as good as healthy plants in quantity or quality.
