Has anyone ever prefabbed a contained growspace to utilize CO2?

Lots of growers have allocated space inside of vacant rooms to use CO2 to grow their plants.

Has anyone ever done this via constructing panels of some sort to enclose a growspace?

Like an enclosed grow room inside of a room?

Maybe a few for more details of what you mean might help :)

Is a tent construction materials lol

Free standing structures in lofts, but not boxes made of insulation board in bedrooms. I think the right size tent can usually be found. Then insulated. In very little time.

I don’t insulate tents. I keep the lung room the temp I want at night and use a temp controller and fan to get the daytime temp I want in the tent. At night it just runs continuously.

Perhaps it's a climate thing, or my prospective of how big a room in how big a room. Here some insulation over a sealed LED tent, would likely get it up to 28c without issue. While most bedrooms are 18c, that they stand in. To heat the whole room would take more power, and perhaps loose some cool space for drying.
The de-humidification solution is a huge player though. It could near the power consumption of the lights.

I'm just going to look at that a moment. It seems many use 400w a meter, and 4L in that 12h period. A dehu capable of catching that back, is likely 300w.

This is one reason I would rather vent. Production costs are increased with co2, by a greater margin than I can justify. And co2 capture works in a modern world, while co2 release may actually infuriate some.

I tend to ask why people need co2. Why they can't beat industry figures without it. If their growing isn't going well, then weighing up sealed room construction and operation, likely isn't a good move.

The room can be any temp you want as long as it’s your minimum desired temp or lower. Don’t vent the tent until it’s at your max temp, then shut off after 3-4* of cooling.

Co2 is really only worth it in a sealed room with a mini-split, or window ac that’s been sealed up.

I can't get a temperature differential of more than a few degrees, between room and tent. 4c with a little bubble wrap. The tent is a black body radiator, with a textured surface.

What differentials are you expecting. You suggest limitless.

With a 65* room a tent can easily hit 95* in minutes with a 600w light in it and the fan off.

I’ve heated a whole house with nothing but 8 1000w lights.

This room was co2 enhanced. Sealed room with a CO2 controller that kept the ppms around the same as the ppm of the res.

Sealed room
HPS
Temps 74 rh 40
Ebb n gro system, hydroton
CO2 added via tanks
12' ceiling
7' plants

Why CO2? Just feed glycine. And stop spraying your plants.

Organics isn't about virtue signaling, it's about growing smokable weed.

I know Hawthorne-Monsanto growers don't believe in chemistry or biology, but getting off the nitrate and pesticides would be the smartest thing they ever did.

This is precisely what I mean lol.

I'm at a crossroad currently -- I just got myself a new lamp that I'm pretty sure I NEED (not want, but need) CO2 to avoid damaging my plants with. So do I spend $500+ on a tent or should I use those funds to construct a sealed growing container?

Because the light is 1500W. From all of my research on the subject, the CO2 enables me to reduce my growing time substantially PLUS giving me far more yield than what I normally would without it.

Organics is amazing, but unfortunately I don't yet have quality worm castings to go the route of Clackamas Coots.

I suggest you test your organic product for heavy metals. My lab grade salts are tested.

My hydro burns way cleaner and tastes better than the same cuts grown in my buddies organic super soils.
