Harvesting question

Hi

I am about to finish my first grow...most of the buds hairs are brown...
i was wondering how should i harvest? this is my first time...should i stop watering 5 days before i harvest? (heard that somewhere) and any harvesting tips are welcome...

its a lot to do with personal preference
me/ I like to water the night before, then they dont dry out to quickly
another tip:
I think non-latex rubber gloves wn in making finger hash

right on congrats on your 1st harvest old school way is judging by red hair amount todays way is by trichromes


what i do is take a snipit {tip} of a trichrome covered leaf from top mid and bottom of a bud. i place these tric covered leaf tips on white paper then use this for inspection http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...e&kw=illuminated+microscope&parentPage=search works great opens up a whole new world. i take sampels from several bud sites uppers mids and lowers. the upper parts of the plant will mature before the lower. some ppl take the tops and leave lowers a wk longer myself i take the whole plant. i like a more cloudy few clear and few amber when i harvest, trichromes will continue to mature approx 24hr's after chop. g/l and congrats on the 1st harvest

I have my second batch in flower. Some people stop watering for a few days before so it will dry quicker. I water the night before because even though the buds will be moist longer, i want a slow cure..

Hi man , I really appriciate your explanation but i have already read this technique ... unfortunatelyi cann not get my hands on the equipment theirfore i am setteling on the old school way..

can you give me a few harvesting tips ? thanks m8.
