You need at least 30 days of flower after pollenation for viable seeds.Harvest the plant as normal unless it was a late pollenation.

I harvest mine at 30-45 days. Try to let them go as long as possible. As close as i can get to 45 days. Want to make sure they are fully mature. Sounds like a nice cross.
Good Luck

The seed husk will start to open and the seeds will drop out. What i like to do is take a shot glass and tweezer and puck them out. This allows for the rest of the bud to mature with the rest of the seeds. The ones that are ready are flicked into the shot glass. Very easy and works well. Once the seeded bud gets fully matured. Cut it and dry it out well. Then some of the seeds will drop out of the bud on their own and the rest you'll dig them out.
Good luck

here s a hint:
harvest the fems as the beans start to "rattle in the pot"
A seed have to be dark, tigerstriped and hard shelled.after ya chopped the girl, dry it over a piece of newspaper which catches the falling beans.Once dry carefully remove all the beans and let them dry in a cool dark place for 3-4 weeks and them pack them with some rice in the frigde for maximum viability.
hope that helps

No theyre crap if harvested white ! Dont hold on the producers timewindow for harvest .Chop them when the beans are ready and not a second earlier

sweet nice thread....i'm about in this situation right now....it's day 30 after pollination and about 25% of the seeds are dark tiger striped and broke out of their husks but haven't dropped....the other 75% are really big in their husks but haven't broke open yet....would it be best to pop out the 25% with a tweezer and shot glass like GDW said and wait for the other 75% to break open? or just pull it in a few days and let the whole plant dry with newspaper under it?

also it was mentioned to let the seeds dry 3-4 weeks and then pack with rice in the fridge for max viability.....do i have to let them dry the 3-4 weeks even if i want to start some of the new seeds right away? i'd like to start asap to select my outdoor strain....they are ready to grow when the seeds are ripe aren't they?

thanks guys

peace

Sure they are ready to but germ rates will be poor so set it with some silica-gel or rice in a small pot in the fridge for 2 days and plant as usual....
[the beans think; when its cold winter is here and when you plant them after the some time they sprout much better ] pffff i know this is not a right spelled sentecne but im too stoned now sry i come back when i found my mind again ...

Seeds can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to mature depending on strain. Once seeds are dark they are ready to be picked. White and green seeds are still immature and need more time.
