This question is coming up for me every single time. I am terrible at this! I do not have the tools to be able to zoom in as much so i can see the trichomes. For someone with more experience in their backpack this might be an easy task. Anyone? ❤️

Sorry but it is impossible to tell from that photo, you might as well just flip a coin. Or am I not seeing all the photos or something?

That's better yeah. Still quite hard to see for certain, but to me it seems like there are some amber trichomes on a couple the trim leaves - but not very many and none on the actual buds yet. Most people would probably prefer the effects after a week or two more. Yield will not increase anymore and you might be close to peak THC %, commercial growers would probably chop now.

I would chop now personally but that's knowing that trichomes will continue to ripen until the cure process is complete. All one needs to evaluate trichomes is a 30X Jewelers Loupe which are readily available for under $20 on sites like Amazon.com

It won't give you the ability to post nice close ups but you'll at least be able to see things more clearly with your own eyes.
