Harvest Pics / C99 & BlueHybrid

Thanks.

The blue one is a result of Blue Rhino "naners" and a Jack Herer cross that happened to be next to it. There is a lot going on in the resulting hybrid. Blueberry, White Rhino, Jack Herer and Hash Plant genes all in the mix.

It smells "hashy" and rich. Incense, maybe a touch of chemical smell. Hard to describe. I dont get blueberry though. Nothing fruity, skunky or fuely. The C99 is citrus all the way. The "Bluejack" is more exotic spice hash musky type.

The BJ is potent and covered in trichomes. Good before bed smoke.

I was just looking them over as I cut them and they could have both went longer. I took them at around 60 days from flip. IME, C99 takes longer than is commonly reported. I have one more finishing up and im going to let her go 9 weeks. The BR was starting to throw naners so she had to come down. I wanted to make room for some Iced Grapefruit I had ready to flip anyway.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. This plant (cannabis) is becoming my favorite subject to photograph. The "bluejack" hybrid is particularly photogenic.

Here are a few more:

and the next two I took by getting under the plants as they were hung to dry, I thought the perspective made for interesting photographs:

just curious on the aroma of your c99, i grow a cut of c99....just curious what yours smells like...

When it was getting close to chop it had almost a florally airplane glue, mebbe a touch of fruit sweetness..

Definately not something you can smoke on the sly...at least my cut..

I had 4 and they all smelled similar. Citrusy, like a very ripe grapefruit with some fruit punch. There is an earthy, fresh grass overtone to it as well. It doesnt smell like typical mj. I could probably grow it with no filter and not arouse suspicion. It is the only strain I have grown that I can hang dry in the basement and not have the whole house reeking like a skunk covered in gasoline ;)

The smell is not strong though and it is why I am not running this one anymore. It is very nice and if you touch them while they are flowering, the smell really sticks to your fingers but its not nearly as strong as the bluejack in the pics or other strains I have grown.

I would like to run a different breeders C99 as mine just didnt live up to the hype. The high is nice. Its different though, I wouldnt call it super strong. Again, I'd like to see others offerings.

I get the grapefuit after cure, tho mine gets the opposite complaint..too stinky..and the smell lingers after smoking really sticks to your clothes....I got it in clone form, way indica leaning leaves, but bud from my first run definately didnt have the density I would have expected which was a bit wierd IMHO. Super thick pistles...that was kinda unique...

Not sure who's it was.....every other cut seemed to be the real deal that I have gotten, but yah just never know.

The high is nice....buddy likes it for his colitis.. f
