i think this is one of most controversy point of debate of growers and smokers. i would like to know our experiences and opinion because after trying every way of harvest time from an early unripe to a fully overripe bud i change point of view. when i was younger i always grow my plants till the end of flowering, when buds can't grow more 30 to 50 % amber, high there is strong, heavy, physic, narcotic, perfect to stay on the sofa but really bad for all the rest. growing up i start to feel too heavy and unpleasant buds fully ripe , i'm a bad ass smoker and it's not a problem of tolerance , so i start harvest more with my sense than eyes and weed come back to the old school , happy, strong feelings like when i try my first joint in childhood. here an example this mango haze was harvested with 16 weeks ,when i smoked i didn't like it and also after 4-6 month curing she was really unpleasant ,demotivating ,has a strange taste but was perfectly organically growed.... a deception. after all i didn't kill the mother giving one more chance and i try another run, this time i chopped her at 14 weeks, smell was better with hints of mango and haze ,i describe shortly the high in the page before, instead in plant chopped at 16 week smell was completed trasormed into something like harsh catpis.
first 3 pics are from 16 week mango haze plant, one or two days before harvest (tomorrow i will up date also a dry sample), last photo is a dry buds take at 14 week. so now with most of strain i chop when thc is fully formed milky with less amber possible . what do you think guys? share our experience
