Harsh taste

Hey guys i been having this problem for a while now the bud looks incredible but the smell and taste is not there i checked my water ppm and its at 370 would hard water be able to cause a harsh taste with no flavor?

dry wet all strains taste the same harsh with black ash i flushed with tap water which was 370 ppm which is like not flushing at all i now realize

Are you in soil? What do you feed the plants? Even if its organic you can make herb taste harsh, trust me. Go lighter with feeding and enjoy better herb even if it means less yield.

Yes, hard water will affect the taste of final product. Invest in a Reverse Osmosis filter for a hundred bucks and you'll have water between 0-10 PPM forever. Also, make sure plants fade out and complete senescence before chopping. Chopping too early could result in unwanted Nitrogen in your flowers and this will cause your ash to burn black and taste very bad.

Feelin in the givin mood.... stop flushing.... haha... try it..... no joke.... what expert was it that advised you that flushing is good? Low feed last week or 2.... no flush.... proper slow dry and few weeks in a jar.... whitest ash ever..... merry christmas!!!!
