Hardwater

I live in Florida and we have hard ass water.I dont have a ppm meter so i cant tell you exactly how hard my water is but at least every other month the aerater in my kitchen faucet gets clogged with white grit- calcium.
I dont have an r/o system so im wondering if the gh hardwater formula will get me by without problems.

You should check out PIPEDREAM's DIY REVERSE OSMOSIS thread.
I'm fairly new here so I'll try to attach the link.

This filter isn't really RO but it is an ingenious and affordable compromise. And it really cleans up your tap water.

I don't know about in the states but we can buy water filters in the uk pretty cheap.. I know it's not RO quality or quantity but it's a fraction of the price, I don't own an EC meter atm so sadly I can't tell you the before and after readings.
