Howdy y’all .. I’ve run the Kosher Kush outdoors with great success .. Potent weather and insect resistant strain for sure. Just wondering if anyone knows a comparable or better stain for outdoor .. I’ve been eyeing Headbanger by Karma and Sour Kush by DNA .. I’m just not sure about mold resistance, like I said, the Kosher cut I have is tried and true . Peace and thx in advance ..

My Headbanger keeper is actually very mold resistant. I have had it come out spotless while neighboring plants ended up losing their top colas to mold. Unfortunately, it stretches a bunch, and it has super thin weak stems that cause all buds except the top cola to flop over. So it requires plenty of support. Might not be the best for outdoors, especially in windy areas. Not sure about Sour Kush...I've been wanting to run it and Kosher and Holy Grail, but worry that DNA have gone downhill since they became big and started outsourcing seed production.

But this is just based on my keeper pheno. Maybe you can find a Headbanger with better structure that works well outdoors.

Hey Budsicles, I’ve ran Kosher from seed recently and they’ve all been fire .. Never ran Karma’s gear , good to hear Headbanger is mold resistant . I’m wondering now how Karma’s Kush offering compare to DNA .. Cheers

Nice, was not aware of a WW x OG available...

Ideal for what OP is looking for, WW is such a great out crosser for outdoor

Hey Jammal, it is not ww x og but the white x og.

The white is very prone to mold, even indoor. But this cross performed well in constant rain and cold temps also not too late, I harvested around octobre 10th and the quality was (or is) just stellar!!!

Btw where I live (N europe) WW is a nightmare outdoors, it molds away at the slightest rain. The ww I ran were coffeeshop clones and not from seed.

Every year I keep coming back to Royal Kush, it's one of the best outdoor strains. Good yield, strong against disease and pests, finishes by the end of September if not earlier, frosty and tasty, strong effects, it checks every box. I feel like whenever I grow it I'm hedging my bet against whatever nature throws at me.

Currently looking for Kosher Kush regs for next year . Can’t seem to find them . I’m wondering if they went to all fem seeds . Ughh . Anyone got a line on who’s carrying regs??

What does kush mean ? Marijuana from the Hindu Kush mountains?
Yeah that’s true . Maybe I should have specified .. I’m looking for a modern OG derivative that is potent , yields well and is hardy for outdoor ..

Ancient og . But if you don't need og , then sour bubble . Bubba kush and purple kush did well in foggy old Humboldt.

No mould issues with the Sour Bub ? I ran her here near Philly outside and she was a mold bomb .. Maybe I should do a little Pheno hunting for a more resistant SB ..The huge fans should be slightly defoliated to prevent bud rot I guess ..

The bubba , and purples did good on the wet northern California coast. I haven't grown sour bubble ,and only recommend it because I've seen Canadians do a good job of it out doors.Good luck finding a replacement. I love kosher by the way.
