Not celebrating Easter, I am still in the midst of Passover, but a happy, peaceful and joyful Easter to all you folks who are celebrating!

As an ex-chef, I am curious to know what kinds of traditional family Easter menus are out there..........anyone care to share?

actually i think its related to the same concept that chocolate bunny rabbits have something to do with the same subject.

Even if you dont admit it, we all need something to believe in otherwise whats the point.
if you dont believe in God, believe in yourself and all will be well.
Happy Easter to all. be cool

IS that really necessary?

Well, I'm sorry, but I gotta say this-
You won't get any respect from anyone, until you respect them back. I don't think anyone, EVER asked your opinion on religion or how stupid you thought their personal beliefs were - EVER. ~~ I think you need a hug - I'm sending you a BIG HUGE.........don't run from me, I'm old and slow, come get your hug. I'd love to send you a chocolate bunny full of ganja buds - but that's not possible, so I'm gonna chase you down and send you a cyber hug.

My family celebrates Easter. But we don't celebrate it in the religious terms. After all, I'm a Buddhist. In our house, the Easter Bunny comes and brings joy to the children whom really are delighted by such a thing. Nothing stupid about bringing joy to children. If there is, then my family's stupid and we don't mind in the slightest.
One doesn't have to be a member of a certain religion to celebrate a holiday. I know many Jewish households that the Easter Bunny arrived, as does Santa Claus every year. People complain about the commercialism that's happened to holidays. So what, we love it anyways. Sort of makes the holiday universal so all can enjoy it in their own way. All in all, we make our own rules in life as much as we can.
I've listened to arguments that Jews or Buddhists shouldn't celebrate Easter or Christmas. But what's Christian about Christmas Trees, presents, and an obsessive-compulsive Rabbit that hides colored eggs. It's simple joy we bring to each other. Time we spend with our loved ones coloring hard boiled eggs for that obsessive-compulsive Rabbit - we love tormenting it.

They don't. Easter is a religious holiday, like Christmas. The Easter Bunny and Santa Claus have nothing to do with "the reason for the season".

The easter bunny and baskets are fun thing...bring a smile to your kids face. Hear some giggles and let them run around looking for colored eggs....has nothing to do with the Christian aspect of it.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate it, for whatever reason. We celebrate family and the joy of life with freinds and family.

For the Big Bang, Chaos or Universal believers it doesn't hurt anything to join in the celebration of life and chance of a brighter existence in a tolerant society.

Peace be with you and yours, spread the Love.....
