Hanna waterproof

Just got a hanna waterproof ph meter to replace the cheaper one I had and although it calibrates correctly, when I test a solution I've made over and over and always tested at about 5.6 is testing at 3.5. Not killing anything so it seems way off but like I said, it's correct at 4
And 7

Any reason it would be spot on in the calibration solution and way off on solutions inbetween?

if its 7 4 its likely a faulty. does it adjust fast or slow? has it dried out at all?

ive had much better luck with hanna over my blulabs and pos hm's. if its brand new just get it replaced as its under warranty. ive had a probe last over 2+ years if you treat them well but 6months to a year is normally standard.

Very slow. I took it to the shop and the guy said it worked fine after checking the 4 7 but when I got it home and checked the tap water after being in the 4 it took a few minutes to show 7 and its usually closer to 8. Been stored in calibration fluid since it came out of the box recently

if its slow its the probe being bad. its how i noticed mine going out after some time. also large temp fluctuations dont help prolong the life of it. id demand a replacement or get your $ back an go elsewhere.

after its calibrated it can hold for a bit but it will drift which is what its doing, thus a faulty or old probe. sometimes the drift can take hrs or days but your clearly seeing it. if they are going to hassle you then shop elsewhere or your just promoting that crap

good luck
