On the other hand killing in general is a horrible depressing thing. I just dont understand why we have to wait for america to get attacked before we help another
country . There are so many countries that need our help right now and we are doing nothing. As for those who get stuck on the fact we found no weapons of mass destruction in iraq I still believe that has nothing to do with why we are over there. I do know the people there would love to wake up and make decisions of their own. America takes for granted what we have but I do not! Now lets take a look at North Korea. That is what I am talking about. We know they are a people that is suffering but we do nothing to help them. If they attacked us we might but it should not come to that. I would give my life to save millions of people. I dont need a reason.

the death penalty doesnt make any sense, if killing people is wrong, then why would you do the same thing as a punishment? after all saddams government used it as punishment in the first place so its just as bad as the current government. in the end none of us knows whether we are "right" in the big picture so to end someones life based on an uncertainty is bullshit.

[QUOTE= after all saddams government used it as punishment in the first place so its just as bad as the current government. "

Please do not compare someone who murders innocent people to people fighting for a chance to be free and think for them selves. That makes no sense. Did your family have these beliefes?

People are born reciting the bible or what their parents brain wash at an early age and that is all they know, but when did they learn to make decisions on their own? Ask your self how much you have learned from searching and how much you have learned from people who have taught you at birth.

What punishment did the people he gassed deserve? But what does a man deserve for murdering many good people who wanted to have their own beliefs? I say it is not life. Would you have let hitler live if you had captured him?

saddam's government did not kill people for their beliefs but for not complying with or submitting to the government. thats a pretty big difference there. all im saying is that if you kill someone out of punishment for killing someone else then you are just as bad as them. killing people is just as wrong whether they are innocent or guilty.

and i dont see how i have anything to do with this, but my family did not teach me anything about god or their religious beliefs so i was forced to learn everything on my own.

seriously you need to stop herbing out. You stated "He didnt kill people for their beliefs but for not complying to the government...LOL Wouldnt their beliefs make them not comply in the first place? He was an evil man ver similar to hitler. :bat:
