Hairless buds

Everything was going fine untill I got some AK47 clones.They all looked fine through veg. In dirt, FF. I trimed out the bottom branches and cloned them. End of 2nd week in bud cycle I noticed some shriveled looking buds on 2 plants, so I pulled them. The crop was great. Next grow was maui and ak and the same thing happened to both of them. so it had spread to the maui as well. Looking at them closer I noticed that the stamens were thickened and curled. there were little brown spots, or maybe some of the stamens were brown. I use messenger and einstien oil. no PM no grey mold, just the usual balancing act to keep things looking good. The next crop I used canna on one room and house and garden on the other. every bud was shriveled. we still were able to get six p's off 4 lights. plus every bud was crystally. now it has spread to the master, and i think my maui has tmv.

It's normal for lower fan leaves to be broader than the newer, upper leaves. Is that what you mean, or are you talking about something beyond that?

Messenger works by causing the plant to produce more of a protein that heightens the plant's immune system. A supercharged immune system is not always a good thing
(google: Lupus). I would try a grow without Messenger to see if that may be the problem.
All of the problems you mentioned could be a result of the plants attacking themselves.

If you look at a picture of a good bud, it is covered by white hairs, but these buds dont have hair. They continue to grow and get crystally, but they dont have the white fluffy look.

I dont understand that statement. I have done 3 runs, + 2 other people took cloans and it happened to them. One guy had 148 hairless buds and 2 good ones.

i think that bottom leaf on the mother is burnt. Is that wat u meant? Because H&G will burn if your mix gets on the leaves when watering. Not good for the foliage jus the roots.
