Hair Loss and POT

I have always noticed I shed much more hair when I start smoking again. I am not balb and have pretty nice hair but I do notice a pattern. When I stop smoking weed my hair stops shedding. Its been this way since i first smoked abck in the little kiddiw days.

Just thought I would throw that out there as I have kept trck for many years.

I am not stoned lol weed does make my hair fall out. I have no doubts nor am I trying
to scare people into thinking that. Now if I said nursing from a goat reverses these affects then I may be stoned.

Pot made my hair fall out one time, er, well I guess I was pulling it out over a case of spider mites about 2 years ago. You have 2 options SS, quit smoking or buy a hat. lol

Hair loss is genetic primarily and environmentally secondarily. Mine is both falling out and turning grey. genetics and Environment effects. I wish I was just stoned. smile. Check your parents and see what their hair lines; I made a pun; look like, that will give you a clue as to your own hair future. My dad has two bald spots, one on top and one in the back. Go figure. I got similar, and a receding hair line to boot. Oh well.

I hear bald is in, in a big way now. smile.

My dad is bald as a cue ball. I have all my hair .... with very little grey. But I do keep it buzzed off as I dont care to bother with it.

Strain searcher, you have stumbled accross something real. Smoking destroys the body's vitamin c supply. This drys and thins the hair. Once the hair reaches a certain level it will start to break. If this goes unreated, you can start to lose hair. My hairdresser took me to one side once and explained it. It takes a solid 10-15 years usage to start to notice effects of this though. Another danger is working in the grow room with the light on. This will also really damage hair. As will warm dry air. And zipo flames on a windy day. This hobby and hair seem to fit so will in the early years, and so poorly in later years, funny.

Fortunately this cook has a fair ammount of shrubbery on the noggin despite the family's genetic potential for shedding our hair (lots of balding cousins, uncles, etc)
I think genetics is part of it, I have though considered chuck's baseball cap theory as well. No sunlight = no growth (although I saw ss said he's not a hat head)
I think the biggest factor is STRESS!!!
I know when I've been in high stress jobs, my hair grays much faster and thins out. Since I love my job, it's thickened up and gotten darker again
Also, I knew a dude back in the day that was sous chef for the restaurant company I worked for. In his high stress position (plus staying out all night consuming all manner of drugs), his ass was damn near totally bald at 23
So, the weed smokin theory may not be TOTALLY off. If ya smoke more weed in timesof high stress,... maybe it's actually the stress peelin your onion rather than the nugs. I'd perscribe switching you to a totally indica diet, and up the dosage to 3 grams, 5 times daily!

Of course you know all the laughs have been in good fun SS Ive always thought it was the LSD I grew up on that kept me young and my hair from falling out . Course we dont take it anymore as it is a sport for young ppl but I always believed its what helped keep us young and in the moment
