Gypsy's Gum (yum!)

Hello all. I have been away for a few months being busy with work and all. In that time my Gypsy's Gum plant finished up. It was from a pack of freebies that I got from Seedbay. Here are the details of the grow:

Light: 160w HPS Super Agro light
5 gallon bucket used as res (yup, it was hydro)
2 air stones with largest air pump I can find (and afford)
Grown in a cabinet with carbon filter for odor treatment
64 Days flowering time in 12/12
Dry for 10 days
2 week cure

I grew her from seed. She was an only child. She grew quite big, maybe 3 1/2 feet before the chop. Got some nice colas using the LST method early on and also some popcorn.

THIS IS A TOTAL CREEPER BUZZ!!

So I smoked a joint. The smell/taste is somewhat like mangos, but to me it is more like half fruity and half hash-like. It is a wonderful taste/smell that lingers with every inhale of fresh air, but not too powerful like other strains.

The high is very nice! Like I said, it is a total creeper buzz. The effects take anywhere from 5-10 minutes to come on full force. It starts as a very euophoric sensation, happy with a big smile; you want to listen to music and jam. After a while you begin to feel a couchlock effect take over and all you want to do is lay down and watch a good movie. It is around this time you begin to feel it in the extremities; your legs and arms begin to get a bit heavy.
To me it seems as though this is something like 60% sativa and 40% indica. The high is wonderful but not too strong that you cannot get things done; be warned though, if you smoke too much all you'll do is lay around and giggle. I'll post some pics when I find that cooky camera of mine.

im growing it right now... looks to be a winner, im almost 3 weeks deep in flower, they look good... what sucked was that the two stongest, deepest green stinky little boogers in the batch turned out male... i really wanted to keep one for a breeding experiment but dont really have any room for seperate males, man they were stinky, even in veg... kinda broke my heart to give em the axe. Although the females look good, none really stand out. Good news is i still have 5 more beans to pop.

haha. Yup. I smoked a joint of it and was like, "oh man, this is total bunk. I mean nice smell & taste, but no high!" Then like 5-10 minutes later I couldn't move off the bed and was like "OMG! I'm so stoned!" Haha, I too miss that kind of pot. Pics comin' laterz.
