They are saying he is a "pot dealer" and he is currently still on the loose. turns out the guy they were looking for the past 4 hours was the wrong guy- this is a disaster.

Bingo... Good for goose, good for gander. I would not shoot them, but I don't feel sorry for 'em either. This is a pretty one sided "war", if we decided to actually fight back they would be overwhelmed by the numbers...

I agree with MoeBubz.. live by the gun, die by the gun. illegal drugs is hard job to be in regardless of what side of the law you're on. yes it's sad that the cop got shot but it's also sad that this guy felt the need to run around with a damn automatic assault rifle.

this just all points to this useless war on drugs and our need to get this shit legalized and regulated. war on drugs creates violent criminals because it becomes a do or die situation. when you know you've got the kind of illegal shit that will carry a life sentence, what difference does it make whether you live or die today.

I have to disagree with The American, love you man! but, if people keep running away, there won't be any place left to run! i see the threads about running off to Alaska or Canada or Amsterdam. Imagine if every medical marijuana patient and general stoner runs off to Alaska. You don't think the DEA is going to be in hot pursuit with helicopters, dogs, vans, and guns in tow? you think canada is going to be a safe haven when they are already trying to get the BC3 extradited? where will there be a safe place to run when there's no place left to hide?

maybe this is a young person's fight. i don't mind if the older guys gracefully bow out because they've done a lot already. but, we all can't run away!
