Anybody try out gushers yet? I heard it taste like blueberry candy gushers fruit snack with good upper 20s potency if grown right.

Things like Strawberry Cough or Chocolate or Pineapple Thai make sense and the smell and/or flavor is why they get those names.
Skittles or Runtz or Snickers (coming soon I bet) might taste and smell like those candy brands. I've viewed it as mostly marketing personally. There's something a little unnerving about naming our treasured plant after corporate candy names. For instance it's Strawberry Cough not Driscoll's cough and Chocolate Thai not Hershey's...or whatever variant of spelling must be used to escape lawsuit.
Some of the candy cultivars aren't as sweet as I would expect, seems like the Gushers lineage isn't very sweet or fruity. Runtz has more gas and funk than expected with a bit of sweet fruit. Here is a photo of some Runtz, turned out great, powerful aroma and taste.
I found a nice runtz cut and made sure to hit it with some pollen. The male I used is sweet and fruity with strong strawberry notes, so I think the cross will enhance the aroma and flavor of the runtz. Runtz cuts have been floating around NorCal the last year or so, runtz just won the Emerald Cup.

no, have you? I imagine the cross of Gelato and Triangle Kush is potent and it may have some hints of sweet and fruit, but probably mostly gas and skunk funk. On the topic of candy, I have more experience with Zkittlez and Runtz. Just tried some Banana Taffe, it actually reminded me of an artificial banana flavor.
