Guestimate on my plant!!!

Okay i need a little help in guessing how much time my babies have left. I'm hoping and was thinking two weeks seeming as it takes on average 8 weeks for NL and mine had preflowers before going into to flower. Stuill, for some reason i'm thinking it could be longer, don't know why maybe just worried i'll have to wait another 3-4 weeks which really won't be a good thing(personal reasons).

So could people give an educated opinion as to how long they think is left till harvest?Especially all ye long time growers.

I'm thinking of cutting back the lighting period by a half hour a day untill i get to around 16 darkness and 8 light so they'll bloom a little faster if its going to take anything longer then 3weeks.

Please help me with this!

Here's a close-up of one of the buds.As you can see plenty of trichs.

This pic is about ten days old but its one of the latest i have thats good quality.

This pic is about three days old but as you can see the quality is poor. I'll get some better ones up tomorrow.

Any and all help will be appreciated!

Al the yellow pics dont help as we cant c the leaf and hair colours. going off the clear pic it looks like easy 2 weeks yet. turning the lights down like that wont help much, as the plants need the lite to convert energy into sugars to make buds so if u turn the lites down u'll lose quality and yeild.

also they'll put a lot of weight on in the last 2 weeks so cutting it short will effect it as well.

the thc level peaks b4 the max yeild is acheived so a fews days early will giv u good quality and good yeild.

next time use a good flower inducer, it will save u 7-14 days (in my experiance) without loss of quality or yeild.

good luck

I used Top Max as a bloom stimulator all through the grow. The pistils on my plant are turning brown but i put that down to touching of them cos the trichs are still crystal clear.

By turning down the light period though the plant will think winter is coming and start pushing itself a bit more to be finished. Its something i'm thinking about doing but not certain yet!

If you have been growin less than 3 yrs for personal... less than a yr commercially
Use the old axiom.
When you think its ready... wait two weeks...

My rule is... If you can wait, and your plants look good... WAIT, if ya can't ya can't

Peace

I'll know when to harvest it when the time comes by keeping an eye on the trichs but i was just wondering what do others estimate the time will be. I'm thinkin 14-18 days but more experienced growers might say more or less if its possible to guage.
I'm not going to cut it till the trichs are ready so if i have to wait i'll wait!No point growing if you can't be patient

Al i wish it did work like that, turning the hours down and speeding things up, but plants dont re-act like we do, it takes days and days for them to even start re-acting to light canges.

by the time they start to re-act they'll hav finished and u'll have just missed out on lite that cud make bud.

Here are a few better pics. Ya i don't think i'll cut the lighting back. I was in a shitty mood yeaterday and i just wanted one thing to go right(that being my harvest day) I'm prepeared to wait it out the proper way. Here are a few more, better pics, to go by.

Don't know why the leaves on this one are inverted like that. Its on the same plant as the other pics. Anyone know?

The inverting of the leaves can be from an excess of nutrients. And I agree with the others, at least two to three weeks more to go on those ladies.
