Guess the deficiency?? Driving me nuts!

Hey all, first post here so go easy on me..
Currently I'm doing a guerrilla grow in the northeast.

Got 16 plants that are about 3 months old. Strains are blue widow, blueberry headband, dutch delight, ams, and a few others.

Soil mix is organic; promix, happy frog, perlite, bone meal, tomato tone, asomite, greensand, kelp meal, lime, and some other shit.

SO! About a month ago I noticed how some leaves (lower to middle ones) on 1 or 2 of my plants started to get these yellow splotches.. eventually they would turn brown and then sooner or later the whole leaf would go... now I see the same thing almost all over every plant I have (excluding the newest growth) some are more effected then others. Pics will hopefully explain it better

Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? I've tried top dressing with lime/guano/bone meal, tried giving cal/mag, nothing seems to help.. starting to lose my shit here because I have a lot invested in these lady's :(...

Someone please help for the love of god

My guess is that its not a deficiency but a pest problem. Check good for aphids or thrips. Might be surprised how easy it is to miss them sometimes.

Thanks for the reply man
That crossed my mind however I did spray them a few times with neem oil, and twice now with azatrol so I'm not sure. If it was a pest problem wouldn't it effect the whole plant and not just the bottom/middle?

I agree, can't say for sure, but it does look like pests. To answer your other question, if the infestation just started or light then "no" it won't affect the entire plant (eventually if the problem is not fixed or under control).

You got a good point sir
So if this is the case would increased applications of the azatrol do the trick? Or should I look into something else..

Can't say unless you know for sure what type of infestation you are dealing with. Some pesticides might work on one and not the other. Spraying too much might give you whole other set of problems. Such as phytotoxicity. My best advice is to hose the plant with plain water from your garden hose to knock down the pest(s) until you know for sure what you are dealing with.

If it turns out to be aphids or thrips, look into Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew or something else with spinosad. There are several other products that have spinosad as an active ingredient. I can personally attest to its effectiveness against thrips and root aphids. Its also worked well for me for spider mites when azamax and regular neem oil wouldnt kill them but others have stated that spinosad didnt kill aphids for them. But its for sure killer for thrips and aphids...if your problem ends up being some kind of bug. Btw, it was pic #1 in the "more pics" post that really made it look like thrip damage to me but still alittle difficult to say for sure. Those little white dots look like leaves look when they have latched on and sucked on the leaves.

i can tell you 1000% this is not thrips or aphids.:laughing::laughing:

That looks like necrosis from damage.

Look closely at the center of the damaged portions of the leaves, is there a hole in the center? if so the leaf killed off the tissue around the vector point for the pathogen.

If there is a problem is phosphorous. but you wouldn't have such splotchy damage, it would be more consistent on entire leaves, all the blades, and more around the edge, not diameter.

What makes you say nutrient problem?

Also, what kind of soil is the plant in, what are its environmental factors.

This really looks like damage from an external source, because only certain leaf blades are damaged and they all sort of follow a path as if some sort of long cylinder hit each one on that area on its way down, pine cone???

^ agree, looks like a chemical residue not washed off properly and exposed to light.

Hey sorry for the delay, I've been having issues with my phone so I wasn't abe to post. I appreciate all the comments however this site rocks

LyryC,
There seems to be no hole in the damaged portion of the leaves, which is why I don't think it's an insect problem. Many of theleaves that are showing the discoloration are 100% ftee of insect damage also.

As for damage externally (such as chemical residue) the only thing I sprayed on the before thus problem appeared was neem oil (diluted of couse, and at dusk)

This is why I'm leaning towards a deficiency

Soil is organic (promix, happy frog, bone meal, gypsum, greensand, lime, kelp meal, tomato tone, ect.)

Plants are in a field to say so it can't be from something falling on them
