Guerrilla Topdress for Flowering?

I'm trying a new strategy this year to try to cut down on botrytis, mold, and PM.

Usually, I prep the native soil with pulverized lime, insect frass, perlite, some very small, basic amendments (the native soil is decent). I mostly feed using water soluble ferts, which requires me to water, obviously.

Later on the year when the plants are going into flower and the rains are around the corner, I want to not have to water in order to feed the plants. I fear that my watering at the end of the season, in tandem with the autumn rain, is leading to increased mold and other problems.

So my question is when and what should a guerrilla topdress for flower? Keep in mind the amendments have to be light, because there's a lot to carry.

My thinking is that this way I can still feed the plants through flowering but let the rain do the work, while cutting down on mold in the process.

I was really baked and in a hurry when I typed that up. Is what I'm asking clear?

I.e. what lightweight amendments would be good for a guerrilla to carry in to topdress with for flowering? Also, when should this be done? I can't quite recall how far in advance of flowering one ought to topdress in order to allow the nutes to leech in by the time flowering starts.

for powders, i use sulphate of potash (fast), bone meal (slow) and kelp. Guano, wood ash also could be used tmk.

If you are having mold problems are you sure you want larger buds??? I used bloom ferts early on in my guerrilla growing career but moved away quickly because I never saw large difference and I didn't want the extra work.

Might be worth it if you are growing just few plants but the mold problems , to me anyways, says smaller plants.

I think the mold problems are mostly my fault. I'm convinced (for the moment) that if I do a better job pruning and spraying/feeding SAR inducers, as well as hitting 'em early with Greencure, I might be able to prevent it. Also, some strains got it more than others. No more Green Poison for me, for now at least.

You might be right though.

This is all awesome advice. I can't do bone meal because of bears and critters, but the other stuff is good. Right now, I'm thinking a nice mix of bat guano, insect frass, and maybe wood ash or sulphate of potash. Maybe some earth juice or dr. Earth as well.

I feed heavier than most during early flowering. I've noticed the past couple years that my plants almost double in size from the end of July through the end of August. They need to EAT.

Many thanks? Any ideas on amounts and ratios of a possible mixture?

By the time flowering rolls around, I'm usually feeding at 2x the recommended rate. Sometimes I feel they could eat more than that.
