Guerrilla Grow

So I have decided that carrying 500-1000 Liters of soil into the woods was not for me.

Instead I am mixing up a special mix that will go into the native soil at each site

This is my mix for each 1.5 meter x 1.5 meter plot.

7 cups of lime
1/2 cup bone meal
1/2 cup blood meal
3/4 cup chicken manure pellets
1 cup Azomite
Perlite

This mix covers veg and flowering phases. Plus includes a fast acting Nitrogen supplement. Azomite provides all trace elements. Lime raises and stabilizes the PH and the perlite improves the drainage. Seems like its all I need!

If anyone has any input on this mix let me know so I can adjust if needed. Thanks.

Any suggestions? If any of these ratios are off you guys can let me know.

1.5 x 1.5 meter is 5x5 foot so if I did alot of searching online for the application rates and I did some math to break it down so it would work for a 5x5 foot area. Let me know If I am wrong? So I don't burn up my plants. Thanks!

The bone meal and blood meal might attract any carnivores that roam the forests there, if any. If that is not a concern in your area of Europe, then your recipe looks great, to my untrained eye. The chicken manure pellets will definitely grow you some monsters.

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing too. I am going to put everything down about 2 months prior to planting so i should be ok.

Nub question i have about guerilla grow, ive been in the game for sometime what do you guys actually mean by "guerilla grow"? i was taught that it is just a saying for a massive grow. and i see there is actual strains guerilla gold and so forth.

So today I decided to get an early start on the season.

I dug 2 plots, 1.5m x 1.5m each

The first plot I just dug it up, didnt add anything

The second plot I added

14 cups of lime
3 cups blood meal
3 cups bone meal
6 cups chicken shit
vermiculite
perlite
hydroton
A little top soil

Here is a picture of the plot. Its very very heavy clay soil. I dont know the PH but I am guessing since pine trees are growing close by that its acidic. Anyway I am going back to finish the second plot and I plan on adding 100 liters of top soil to each hole. 50 liters will get mixed in and 50 liters will sit on top

And all mixed in. You can barely tell I did anything to the plot at all. That damn clay.

This made me actually look up the definition for guerrilla growing since I didn't know for sure myself... you'll find some funny relations I bet:


Guerrilla Gardening -

Gardening on land that the gardeners do not have legal right to use, often an abandoned site or area not cared for by anyone. It encompasses a very diverse range of people and motivations, from the enthusiastic gardener who spills over their legal boundaries to the highly political gardener who seeks to provoke change through direct action.

The land that is guerrilla gardened is usually abandoned or neglected by its legal owner. That land is used by guerrilla gardeners to raise plants, frequently focusing on food crops or plants intended to beautify an area. This practice has implications for land rights and land reform; it promotes re-consideration of land ownership in order to reclaim land from perceived neglect or misuse and assign a new purpose to it.

Some guerrilla gardeners carry out their actions at night, in relative secrecy, to sow and tend a new vegetable patch or flower garden in an effort to make the area of use and/or more attractive. Some garden at more visible hours to be seen by their community. It has grown into a form of activism.

Also, since your soil has organic amendments in it you're going to want to instal a cage of some kind around each soil patch. I like chicken wire because it's light and easy to transport/install. You can carry out some steel fencing stakes or get creative (like I like to do) and chop some branches up, carve points on the bottoms and drill them into the ground to stabilize those fences!

Keep in mind the view from above as well, not sure where you are and if fly-overs are common but you always want to pretend they're there. Anything un-natural sticks out like a sore thumb so mulching over your soil since it contains perlite is a really smart move. Plus, mulch will hold in moisture and keep your soil food web alive since your micro organisms die off once they get too dry. Mulch is a guerrillas best friend.

I had a patch compromised last year (10 plants!) because I got lazy about entering and leaving... leaving a path. This is a dead give away from above as well, they call it the "lollipop" because choppers follow the stick (path) to the candy (patch) so-to-speak. I good idea is to make a path in the general direction (with machete or what have you) and have that path sway away from the direction of your grow gradually. THEN, find an ideal spot where you can sneak off that path and into your hidden lollipop path. Things like pine tree branches that can be pushed aside then bounce back are great, as well as rocks or logs that you can hop on then jump over some small brush to cover up entry steps. Use this path with delicacy though, try to brush by plants instead of stepping on them.

A stream is ideal though, spots like these are few and far between. Travel by stream to your hidden path and nobody will have any idea where your grow is, even if they're looking for your spot. Which brings me to my final tip for now:

Do not tell a soul you have an outdoor grow. I mean nobody, not your best friend not your sister or your brother. No one. This will give you peace of mind and will prevent you from turning you against anyone that knows about your patch in the future. I knew about a buddy's grow back in the day - when it was found he didn't know who to trust. It sucked because we were boys, but it was a valuable lesson. You'll find that every season is a lesson learner, and to not look at mistakes as failures anymore but wisdom gaining.

Most common mistakes are leaving that dreaded path, telling others, not enough water and failing to prep on time. You're prep work is almost done so you're on a good track, hope everything works out for ya. I'll be following this grow, I'm popping some GG as well as you may know so that should be fun to grow together in a way haha

How long is your season and where (not too much detail obv) are you located?

Have you told ANYone about your plan? If so, pretend like it fell through and you're pretty bummed about it. Sell it. It'll let you sleep at night and you can always show off after you crop out with some fat sticky colas!

Whats the path looking like to the grow so far?
Usually covering up a "site prep path" is a wise idea after you haul out your goods pre-season, then create your stealthy path.

How bad is the clay content? It looks really thick, I'd consider a new location if that link doesnt help even it out a bit. Try a 5 gallon bucket's worth, so you don't do all that work for nothing. The 5 gal will help you with ratio's for the rest of your soil too. I set up a 12 patch garden for 2 weeks straight (4 hrs a day) to have it be compromised before I even planted by a hiker seeing me prepping it. He laughed because he knew what I was doing, I asked him what the hell he was doing that far out in the woods. He was "hiking", I didn't wanna risk it so I tossed the entire spot. $500 worth of amendments that just wasn't worth hauling all the way back out. Ended up sleeping better that summer though, and cropping out after spending a little extra time finding more secure spots. It's funny because every spot I found pre-season was golden in my eyes, but the spot I'd find after that seemed to be better... and so on. If this spot is gold but soil isnt, consider hauling in some peat moss bales with some home-made duct tape shoulder straps that act as a backpack for the 4 cu. ft. bale. This is how the Mexicans smuggle dope into the U.S., but also how guerrilla's transport large amounts of soil deep into the bush. It's good exercise too, your back will look super-human after all is said and done lol

Always have an alibi when visiting your patches. I like bird watching, but you really have to play the part (so if you have a nice camera this would be a good idea). Carrying a bird book around and knowing a thing or two about the birds in the area is good. I carry 2 SD cards, one with real bird shots on it and one in my pocket dedicated for the girls. Worse comes to worse, I break the grow SD card in half and throw it if the 5-0 were to ever happen to catch me (highly unlikely).

Other alibi's include carrying a dog leash with a collar on it looking like your dog escaped, then if you were to happen to hear anyone coming just start calling out a name and pretend you didn't hear them coming. It really depends on the area youre in though, different alibi's work for different locations.


Hmu for anymore advice man, I know a lot about growing out in the bush.

The only person that knows about my grow besides people on the internet, is just my wife. Obviously I cant hide it from her. She see's everything i purchase, the money i spend, me leaving with a big ruck pack on, she gets it. No one on the internet knows where I live, my name, my picture, or where I am growing. No one has seen me at my spot. So I think I am good.

What you were telling me about leaving paths to the grow spot, your right, its still winter so im not worried about leaving paths. After everything starts growing then I will worry. Thats why I am preparing now So i only have to go to my site in spring to plant the seedlings and then leave for a few weeks. Not leaving any trails to my site. I am more worried about the smell making people investigate. Not worried about helicopters or planes because I live in sweden and they dont search for cannabis like that. They rely on snitches.

As for water, We get a fair amount of rain. And my area has a small stream going by it, its more like a ditch its so small, but it has water in it. I can water with a jug from the stream or back pack my 25 liter water jug in when it gets real warm and the plants need a drink.


Oh and my growing season is may 15 To June 1st plant out, and plants have to come out of the ground about september 1st. Maybe the 15th if its a good year. That rain comes early and it does not stop.

oh wow I forgot you were over in Sweden! I was picturing you in the States... I'm officially jealous. They search night and day by air where I am so we have to be pretty careful... raises that paranoia level a bit (if you can't tell) LOL

Your season is just like mine date-wise though. Good strain selection. Sounds like youre gonna do just fine by the looks of it, and smart move on closing those lips! Wife doesn't count obviously lol

Thanks bro I hope we can share grow techniques. I am already off to a bad start. I tried to get a early start at prepping my plot and after I dug out the plot and added all the organics I came back today and the hole is filled with water. I hope the clay will hold all the organics in the hole. I don't feel like having the rain wash my organics away, thats like money down the shitter!
