Guerilla containers

Hey y'all I dont have much experience with guerilla growing in containers but im going to try them out this year. I just germed some beans and im going to sex them in one gallon containers before puttingooutdoor. Since its already mid June this will be the last of my seed popping lol. I have decided instead of digging holes for these plants I will put them in 10 gallon grow bags and will be able to water them as well.

Giving the time of season in Ky what do you think I could yield per plant? Ill be using sunshine soiless mix with water crystals and either time released ferts or organic mixtures. Ten gallon grow bags and they will be placed outdoors probably July 20th after a good month of indoor veg. I know thats late but they will be kept in one gallon containers under good lighting on either 18/6 or 24/0 before going outside.

Is a quarter lb per plant doable you think using this method? Can anyone throw me any advice or have any expirience? Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Fl, I will be growing several different strains. California Hash Plant, Power Kush, Kolossus, Kalishnikova, Rosetta Stoned, Getaway Special, Seawarp, Brain Twister, 1/2 Joint, Stumbleweed, Swamp Skunk, Original Iranian, BOG bubble gum and a few more. Also lots of local bred Afghani and Northern Light crosses.

Its doable, but I always wonder why someone growing guerrilla wouldnt want to grow in the ground. I can see if your ground/dirt is bad, but where you live, Id think plants would do well in the dirt. For me, guerrilla means visiting my spots as little as possible, this is not easy to do when you are using containers. Currently I visit usually once every 3 weeks, about 10 minutes/visit. This limits my exposure and chances of being caught. In soil is more forgiving in dry conditions and the plants can go find water if they need it, much more so than in containers. Only benefit I see of containers is the ability to move them in a pinch. 1/4lb plant in a 10 gallon container in August is going to need a lot of water, at least where I live it would, probably twice a week, thats a lot of unnecessary visits and work IMO. You are getting to the late end for planting seeds where I live, but Im farther north than you and we get a hard frost mid/late sept usually. Its still prime time to do quick autos tho and I just put out another 14 beans a few days ago. If you have another month or so than I do, Id just find good fertile soil, amend it and plant in ground, but I dont know your specifics about location, climate or native soil conditions.

I grow five gallon compost/perlite mix swamp tubes in part shade probably six hours of direct light. The extent of the growing season goes four months - june, july, august and september. I suffer a fair amount of failure and never enough time to care for them properly. Yield is typically one to three ounces per tube.

couple of questions....

Are you near a water source ?

Whats your rainfall and ground soil moisture content throughout the season?

It has been raining a lot here lately. About two to three times a week and the ground is pretty moist. Not usual here, but we have our good years around here sometimes and knock on wood, this is one of them years lol.

I have many plants in the ground as we speak and shall keep pushing more into the ground as well. But figured maybe the container thing would be cool, since i've never really tried it and im sick of digging everyday lol. I have water access if needed, yes. I think i'm going to push out several more, just like planned and do half of those in containers and the other half in the ground, I guess I have a few more digs left in me lol. Just for a comparison for next year.

I've pretty much got it figured out now I reckon and I want to think everyone for their help and input as well! It would be nice if all us serious guerilla growers could just team up and pull one grow off together hahaha! I bet we could paint the world green with cannabis!

Your gonna get more then a 1/4 pound per if you veg em for a month inside brother...well I would say a 1/4 pound would be a very, very easy goal to get off an outdoor plant in 10 gallons of soil with a month veg..I usually get 2 or 3 ounces minimum off plants I put out right at end of July/start of August that are literally an inch tall when I put them in less then 5 gallons of soil. And I live in Canada, where for sure our sun is not as intense as yours!
