Guerilla Auto Grow Outside

I made a post before about a guerilla autoflower grow that I am doing outside. I have 3 lowryder 2s that are feminized, 2 femmed diesel ryders died already. The plants receive about 3 hours of light everyday which is obviously very little. This is basically a little experiment to hopefully get (hopefully) some nice potent personal smoke from some small plants. There are two problems though, 1- is that since the plants receive such little light they are very very stretched (about 4-5 inches of stem before the first leaf set). So obviously the plants are somewhat flimsy. I tried making the stems stronger by taping around the base of the stems to prop them up and it actually works pretty well. The problem is that because of the flimsy stretched plants a strong rain or two could easily smush them as it did to the diesel ryders. That is problem number 1. Problem #2 is that I am leaving for one month to take a summer class at my college. It is exactly 30 days. I am nervous that there could be either extreme as too heavy rain will kill the plants and too little will kill them also. Hopefully the balance will work out. My question is - Can plants go a long time without water? Such as maybe 10 days or so if that is how nature plays out?? I will post pics of the plants soon.

Here's a pic of each one plus a full shot of all three. Two are doing "well" for a stretched plant and one will probably not make it without my care. These are about 18 days old and they look like they are about 4 days. As you can tell they are dwarfs of dwarfs.

I'd cut drinking straws to the desired length and slice them long-ways to allow for growth beyond the straw's diameter rather than using the tape. As for your time away...I'd just return to the spot in a month with low expectations. There isn't much you can do and they're not receiving much light.

I'd use the straw idea or tie them to some small stakes. Nothing much you can do about being away. Just pray for some rain. I wouldn't expect much from your plants. Key to high yields from autos is to get them as big as possible before they bud. Three hours of light a day just isn't enough.
