Guatemalan Sativa (Rasta Circus)

Just some pics of a strain my buddy picked up while travelling in Nicaragua. It was grown in Guatemala, carried by Hondurans, and sold in Nicaragua. He's calling it "Rasta Circus" and to anyone who has bought weed in Central America it should be pretty obvious why.

The buzz from this stuff was the best that he found in his travels; it made him smile pretty much regardless of the situation in which he smoked it. Laying on the ground grinning he found to be great with this stuff, but walking through a town and talking to people with a grin plastered across his face was just as nice. Just good vibes happy-time weed. Not much of a burnout, just good all around, moderately seedy.

Taste was just slightly fruity, but mostly musty and spicy.

cool...he said it was moderately seedy. I've smoke some OK herb in Honduras, sativa but more narcotic, no doubt there is better than I got. they grow it in the mountains there that come out of the coastal plain.

Nice buds and story. I would be saving those seeds.

Cannabiogen has Guatemalan sativa seeds for sale. No idea if this is similar or the same.

Yeah he gave me about 40-50 seeds. I won't be able to sprout till May, but I'm excited about these. He's grown Cannabiogen's Panama (2014 stock) and said that this was somewhat similar but less stimulating and more... psychedelic may not be the word, reflective maybe, relaxing but not tiring. He used the term "sparkly", if that's an ok term to describe cannabis.

He said that most of the herb was ok at best; crushed so hard that most of the seeds smashed. This and one other kind really stood out to him, this one because of the undeniably pleasant and potent effects, (and the actual budly shaped buds!) and the other because it got him so frighteningly red eyedly high that normal tasks like buying groceries became sketchy at best. He only got the two standouts because he stayed in one place for a month and made some good friends.
