Guano Tea Recipe

G

Guest

This is a recipe that i have held onto... It's a recipe from a hydro store i used to work at. It goes like this:

To 108oz. of warm water...Add 12oz. Primal Harvest(brand of guano) and
20oz. of Earth Juice Calalyst..

Stir well..

Let stand for three days...*(shake the mixture up three times a day or better put a airstone at the bottom to keep it mixed up)*

Use at 1-3oz. per gallon of water..

bloom tea, NPK= 0-12-1...

Yeah is alot of guano...that's why you dilute it 1-3Tbls. per gallon of water.

where's the K?

in laymans terms:

N = leaf production
P = root production
k = fruit production

If phosphate = root production(only). Then why is primal harvest(0-12-1) for blooming and not for rooting.
I didn't make this recipe up myself..It's from the makers of Earth Juice.. who also makes Primal Harvest gauno. I found the recipe other places too, like hear:http://www.greenfire.net/hot/F171.html
The measurements are a little different, but basically the same recipe...

I'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure that phosphate has almost an equal part in fruit producition. Cause blooming products like P/K13-14, big bud, ect.... all have agood bit of it present.

But i don't disagree with the simplicity of:
N = leaf production
P = root production
k = fruit production

Hey Greenlion, thanks for the recipe. I've seen this before somewhere, and have been searching for it since. THink I'll be trying it very soon. How has it worked for you? Do you have to use Earth Juice catalyst, or do you think a catalyst like Liquid Karma could work too? Would the tea be your sole fertilizer during flowering, or would you use it as a boost in addition to something else?
BTW, I've always understood phosphorus to be the big gun when it comes to flower/fruit production. So it might be more accurate to say P=fruit/root production.
Thanks!

k helps with enlarging buds but p is you main flower source. If you wanted a tea for veg, substitute with mexican bat guano

Hereward thanks for the kind comment!
It works really good for me in the past, and i like the fact that it's organic...

I would go with EJ catalyst..but who knows liquid karma might work good too. Only one way to find out.

I use the tea not as a sole fertilizer..but yeah, kinda as a boost...

Cheifsmokingbud-thanks for the tips, and clearing things up on the N-P-K... yeah a veg tea would be good..i should try that some time.
