Guano tea is this right?

Ok I just want to check in everyone here as we are on the same page. i have all organic bat guano 10-3-1 for veg. Wondering if this amount was ok. I used 1 gallon of water in a bubble cloner with 1/4th cup of guano. I bubbled for 24 hours and then took about 1/3rd of the galloon and mixed it with a half gallon of water to dilute the strength. i watered but did not drench the plants and within 2 hours they seem to really be reaching for the light. You think this was a strong enough mix?

lol I read the post and it sound like a math problem. After doing some readin it seems everyone agrees 1-2 tablespoons per gallon. I must say the plants ate it up like it was candy. Ill post a pic in the morning. Also using a bubbler for 24 hours is great and I think some of you do 48 hours as well.

The recipe I follow goes like this, I put 2 cups of of guano in rougghly 4 gallons of water and infuse it for 24-48 hrs with an airstone, this tea will keep for about a month.
I then use one cup of the tea per gallon of water when I water my girls.
You'll have to work out the math but your recipe sounds right from my standpoint.
2tbs per gallon without dilution figures about right, when I make a small batch of microbial tea I add about that.

I usually just add a tablespoon to a gallon of distilled water. I shake it up and let it set for a few days, shaking it up everyday. Using warm water would be good to so that the guano can dissolve better. Shake before using too.

how often do you guys use this guano? if I got a veg. guano, can I stop using my pure blend? or should I just use the guanos in flowering and stop PB in flowering?

I usually use the pbp bloom up until about 1/2 way thru flowering. Then stop the pbp and just use teas until flush.

Sunds like a plan Bostrom, add some EWC and bubble it and your ladies will sing the praise with leaves on a 45deg angle towards the gods.

Cool thanks. I wasn't able to get the EWC today, cause the store said it didn't come in, so i'm bummed and dont want to mail order it. I'll keep looking, one store ACE Hardware, asked me for a dealer to get it for his store because lots of people ask for it?? Anyway glad to hear we can keep the tea for a month, I was under the impression it only lasted a few days, so this is good news. I'm going in the AM to get the bat shit, any pref between the two, only can get one. So since it won't have EWC just bat and molasses is good, any PBP in the mix?

use a women stockings to use as a tea bag and just mix with air .when i mix bat guonos and earth worm castings the worm castings addes benifical bacteria.i get a good froth like a head on a beer.i just ordered the soil soup mixer for outside veg gardening and it comes with a reusable sock that keeps your casings and guonos in the sock and makes a rich compost tea.i use black strap mollases to feed the bacteria in the mix its great and cant wait to eat some fresh grown organic vegs.

I don't use a bag or stocking, if you have an airstone running as you should then it's tossing those particles around plenty.
I use the muck in the bottom a second time for a second bubbling and I just add some molasses to it.

You use the stockings to keep the larger ammount of gunao and castings out of the liquid, it can make cleanup easier but there will be some 'silt still on the bottom of the bucket. It really makes a big difference if you are planning to spray it, such as a foliar feed, so it doesn't clog up the sprayer.

It acts like a tea back so you can keep all the dry ammendments together and shake it with a tug on the sock to release the seeped water in the sock, it helps to remove all the ammendments before using the tea also.
Like I said I skip it, it's a cleaniliness thing IMHO.

same thing as a tea bag you would make to drink. keeps all the leaves and chunks out of the water but lets the good stuff out into the water.
