Growing on Edge - seizure?

On the side of my yard there is a thin strip of land that technically belongs to the forest preserve. It serves as a 10 foot buffer between my property and the root bases of the trees in the forest and extends about 200 yards. Their is plenty of natural vegetation that serves as camoflage and the buffer zone begins where my grass ends and ends at the tree line. I had great success there last year. Neighbors view it as my property, but there are markers set in the property boundry that distinguish as forest preserve. I had nice success there last year and have plans to increase this coming year. My question is whether or not they could seize my house if they find it, where technically I am growing on public land. Any insights anyone?

If it's that close to your yard. I would bet 'they' would say it's yours.

The real question here is, what do you need to do in order to give yourself plausible deny-ability.

Keep them at a safe distance from the edge of your yard, or else, I only see bad things if something goes down.

Why not go deeper into the forest?

Irrigation lines from your property to the plants would be a definite no no and if you have a small garden it will help explain the growing supplies that you will have. Once you put any plants out do not have any MJ growing on your property or you lose all deny ability

Exactly, what plants? You mean the 5 each of Neville's Haze, PPP, Opium, Bubblicious, AK47, the 20 autoflowers, and my very own invention I call Erinstein? I don't know anything about them. In fact that's not even my property.

I actually have auto sprinklers that come on at 4am to water them (part of an entire lawn system where I can program by zone). I may want to rethink that. I do have a tomato garden too, so that helps explain the supplies.

A friend of mine had some plants growing on land that was not his, power line right of way. They were close to his place & they didn't ask him if they were his just figured they were, he got off lucky they just took his herb but he could have been f**ked!
I sure as hell wouldn't run irrigation to the garden, especially if you want deniability!
