Thats strains is supose to be an autoflowering one, that means it starts kiking when its mature, not when you change light period.
Anyway, 8H of light...?

12/12 and watch them blow up! That sounds like veg time to me, no wonder why they're small. They just might be really confused. Equalize the dark and light for flower. My poinsettias like 12/12 and to veg 18/6.

ummmm lowryder is best under at least 18 hours of light as it auto flowers under 24 and the more light the more bud. Pot size has ALOT to do with final yield. lowryder#2 is supposed to get an ounce per plant so i say let it go until it's completely done.

In all reality your plant could yield crap. Auto flower strains take some dialing in and some luck....Good luck and check out Mdanzig's site highbreed it should be the source on autoflowering strains on the web these days.

with 20 hours of daylight, the plant thinks it is early summer and continues vegetative growth. cannabis is sensitive to is photoperiod. like all annual plants, it exists only to go to seed. by setting your light cycle to 12/12, you convince the plant that it is the end of the growing season. the plant explodes with flowers in hopes of pollinating so it can go to seed before it dies.

i think this thing is already tested , and like i know for autoflowering straings , 12/12 very reduce a yield, and best is 18/6 or 20/4 depends how you want , anyway its can flower and without dark period . I vegetate mine lr2 on 20/4 , when they started to showing a sex , i switched to 18/6 , and its going always on it now .

As has already been said this is not true of lowryder, It flowers regardless of photo period but with age. So it will flower no matter what light cycle it is on.

lilred - I've heard that 20/4 won't do any harm to your plants but in testing 18/6 gives you no lower yield and a lower leccy bill. Mine are currently 24 days into the grow and were on 24/0 for the first week and then have been on 18/6 ever since. Good luck I hope they pack some weight on.

Take care,
