Nice work those are beautiful flowers. Very colorful.

China's been growing hemp for thousands of years, never stopped like the West did. It's still a huge cash crop, half the world's cannabis is grown in China.

It's not so much it grew into a cannabis superpower, it's always been a cannabis superpower. China, especially the South and West, are hot spots of cannabis genetic diversity. Wild and feral plants with varying amounts of THC and CBD.

I'm not 100% because I can't find the numbers but I'm pretty sure China leads the world in CBD oil sales. Made from their huge hemp crop. They've been marketing CBD worldwide, including in the USA.

They even have a website and a company in Los Angeles that sells the stuff.

Which is why growing a CBD strain is clever. On the one hand China wants to appear hard on cannabis use but on the other cannabis is huge business and everyone wants a piece. It would be hypocritical to harass someone for a small scale personal grow when they're marketing the same plant to their own citizens and the worldwide market.

I have been wondering where China was representing itself. Good to see you hear, and best of luck.

Really good thread so far. Culturally and economically. Plants look alright to :)

nice looking plant and buds. How about a smoke report so that all of us know what we are missing?

Keep up the good work.

So neat to see someone in China doing this and on the boards. I figured pot laws or internet controls were the reason I have never really seen anyone from China participating on the boards. China could contribute so much to the community and gene pool. Really happy to see you post here and hope you stick around.

Great looking plants.

The middle picture the OP posted (with the city in the background) is a very stout, sturdy looking plant...
With nice looking flowers!
