Growing in a bed - the second generation
the bed is proofed and running. so time for the next go, here´s the euquipemnt list:

1 x 175cbm/h exhauster 100mm (/)
1 x 255cbm/h exhauster 125mm (/)
1 x 23cm blowing fan
1 x 100/250mm 120m³ activated carbon filter
1 x 400w HPS
1 x Easy Roller Set

1 x Tensiometer (Blumat Digital) Soil moisture sensor
1 x 4500l/h pump
31 x divider
1 x Min/Max Thermo/Hyrgometer

2 x Silencer (self made: carton, full with cellular material where the exhausters are in)

growing diary:
The preperations for the grow began end of june. I decided to choose
mostly indica mothers for the next grow because i had mostly sativas the
last grows. After 2 weeks rooting (most in oasis, some in jiffies)
the plants got transplanted from 0,5l pots into 2,2l. Afterwards they
were put into the garden because they were to big for the mother closet.
So after about 1 week vegging in the garden the bed was ready for the next go,
so i put them into the big soil bed:

After 7 days veg in the bed and lots of problems with head (up to 35°) i bought a cooltube and
a second exhauster for it. The Temps are now in green areas. Since then i light them with only
11/13 lights a day. Until next friday i spray a lot with Leaf Coat (bio bizz), then the blue spectrum lights
will be replaced with red for blooming, and light will be 12/12.

Something to say to the bed, what is maybe new for some of you, as i only use bio products i decided to
go more nature than ever before. so i bought 45 earthworms for my bed, which is very good for the air in the roots,
they eat the bad roots, and so on, so it should be very healthy for the plants.

Whats new too is my soil moisture sensor. the problem with the last grow and the bed was that i didnt
or hardly knew what the moisture was in the earth at about 20-30cm deepth. so here it is, the soil moisture sensor
is put into the soil at about 20cm deep. more infos on www.blumat.de (blumat digital)

Most plants have been topped to keep all plants on the same height. Until now everything runs fine for me,
so i hope the plants will develop nice as usual. I hope you enjoy my report and post some deliberate answers/
questions.

. I must say you do a very nice job documenting & maintaining all those different strains & i cannot wait to see them fill out... all fat & happy in that bed 
. I almost went to grow beds after reading (who i consider to be my biggest mentor) Soma's article about his beds yrs' ago. Best of luck & i'll be tagging along in the shadows 
with a 'chime in now & then' Peace to you my friend 3ld
