This year I'm going to actually have some real strains!!!! :woohoo:

Here's my short list. (All regs)
3xNirvana-White Rhino
3xNirvana-Blue Mystic
3xNirvana-Papaya
3xKC Brains-Spontanica

Got CH9-Jack and Vintage 2006 as FEM freebies. The Jack was already cracked, but they sent out a replacement. I'm still gonna try and grow the cracked one, so maybe I'll have 2 of those.

Started one of each of the REG's on 1/27. Sprouted two days after and I put them in soil. Today Blue mystic and Spontanica have broke ground. White rhino and Papaya should be later today or tomorrow(There very close to breaking ground).
-------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways here's the plan..
I'm gonna grow these as mothers/fathers until the end of Feb, then chop them in half and use the top as multiple clones. Let the clones take root and grow a week or two, and then flower outside for a early spring grow in March-June. I'll see whats male and female then, if male, I'll plant another seed. My goal is too make seed from each type at least!

4/20, I'll put out the mothers and keep the fathers for pollen. Hopefully I can put one clone of each in a 5 gallon bucket, and the rest in the ground this year. I need more yield for sure, going for enough to last me the whole year and not a month.

Soil is gonna be horse poo and coffee grounds, water crystals, and perlite. I don't have much money but, I could use suggestions on some amendments I can add that are cheap and will go along way.

I also need to figure out my nute plan. I have about 10 packs of the miracle grow nutes left, I'll use that at half strength once a month as a vegging boost.
------------------------------------------

I do have 10 bagseed from some bud from out west in a medical state, unknowns though. Also, 1 from some good local stuff. The local and 2 of the bagseed have sprouted and are gonna be on second leaves soon.
--------------------------------------------

Good luck my fellow guerrilla's! :peacock:

hey there GU,

getting started early is always a good idea... though if you want to get an early spring crop outdoor... you may want to force flower your plants indoor ASAP for 2-3 weeks then move them outdoor where they would continue to bud through april and probably be close to finish sometime in early to mid may... any longer than may and they will likely begin to revegetate due to the lengthening day light hours.

also you should be composting any horse poo or coffee grounds that you plan to use, like they should already be composting as we speak in order to be ready by late may early june when you should be transplanting your plants outdoors.

and you will definitely want to add some other amendments also, I will take a bit of time later to give you a list of some simple things you should add.

Peace,
Infi

(((((((((((Taken yesterday. I'll try to post pics every two weeks.))))))))))))))

All red crosses, nothing was planted there. I do have another 6-cup, with veggies as seen in the second pic.
The cracked jack, has not sprouted above ground and I'm assuming it died. Good thing I have two more to replace it. Also the first W. Rhino and Papaya I planted did not break ground either.

I got 2.2lbs of Sunleaves Jamaican Bat Guano for flowering, and plan on getting another bag and a huge jar of local molasses. Maybe some kelp or alfalfa meal for veggin if my budget allows for it (gotta check the local farmers markets).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Infinitesimal, and mungio Thank you for posting :D

I'm going to do a light deprive, by either tarping/sheeting the plants to help control the light hours. You are correct on the time-frame though, I plan on flowering the 1st of march or so, or as soon as I can take a few clones.

I only get Horse poo that has been sitting for months so it's ready to go. The coffee grounds do need time to break down, but I've never had them burn my plants and its kinda like a slow release nute. I have 10 gallons of coffee grounds already to go.

Well I have the Jamaican bat guano, and molasses for flowering so far. I also have some chemical vegging nutes from last year left I plan on using, but I'd prefer organics. Any help though would be great :D

UPDATE-Taken 2/25
-----------
My veggies are starting to sprout :)

Here's the Canna. I switched soils, the coffee grounds weren't composted good enough and where to acidic. Got some nice soil and been using spring water, ph'd to 6.5 and 100ppm of Canna A nutes.

The big Blue Mystic, topped herself and since this pic has been taken, all plants are exploding! My bagseed plants are being gifted to someone so I no longer have them.

See you guys in a couple of weeks.

Bloods, I'm actually late this year.. :)

Biosynthesis, no it is not. All of my plants are REGS currently just like I posted. I only have CH9 Jack and Vintage 2006 as FEMS. I have high hopes for Spontanica though, KC Brains breeds for outside.
-------------------------
I do hope for a male and female of each strain

I'm having some kind of problem guys! I've been using spring water that has a ppm of 5 and ph of 6.0 to start. I raise the ppm to between 50 and 120ppm, with a ph of 6.5 or so (greenish yellow using the ph tester drops). Looks like I need more nitrogen and either maganese or magnesium?? I have Epsom salts, but don't know how much to add to 1 liter of water.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Pinched my tops, and let the secondary branches devolp a bit, Blue mystic topped it self awhile ago and looks like its going to again. It's almost time to re-pot!

yes they all need to be repotted and that looks like calcium deficiency a micro nutrient solution would probably handle that after being up potted.

repotted, and upped my nute dose. Everything is looking great again. It was either Calcium or Magnesium. Thanks, Infinitesimal! :thank you:

Both Spontanica's are females. The White Rhino is a male. It looks like so far one Blue mystic is a female, and the other BM and Papaya haven't thrown preflowers yet soo.. maybe another week or two. Started my last White Rhino and hoping for a female!

**I can make these crosses, soon I'll know if I can add the others into this mix**
SpontanicaxWhite Rhino
SpontanicaxSpontanica (both same pheno-about 90% the same. I'll use Colloidal Silver)
White RhinoxBlue Mystic

Hopefully I can get a male BM then I can do a BMxBM and SpontanicaxBM. Still got a bm, papaya and spontanica seed left.
-------------------------

Looks like I wont have enough time to post for awhile, spring is here and I have lots to do. :dance013:

Ok update day! I'll post the pics tonight in the next reply.

Let's see. Both Blue Mystic's where males. The one that topped itself, barely threw any pollen and died soon after. The other is a champ! Threw tons of pollen and is very vigorous and has a nice crystal sheen to it. White rhino, died very fast and only got a bit of pollen off him. Should be enough to get a handful of seeds. :D

Papaya is a female, and took two clones from her. They should be rooted soon. Took two clones from both Spontanica's. S2's are about dead. S1, has very fast roots and have been growing under the sun for a few weeks now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now on to the new things, started my last Blue Mystic and White Rhino seeds. The rhino looks to be female, and the blue mystic hasn't preflowered yet. Mothers will be fully seeded, and clones put in either spot 3 or 4.

I also pollinated some Spontanica 2 preflowers(4 or so) with some BM pollen from my prize male.

I put my Spontanica 1 and Papaya mothers in Spot 1. A clone of S1 and Papaya are going in spot 2. Spontanica 2 is going in spot 3. I also have a 4th spot location but its a maybe.

All my plants are loving the sun!

--edit-- I keep getting plagued with Cal deficiency. Hopefully my home made compost will fix it up!

Dang, I got bad news. My Spontanica and Papaya where dug up by some animal. Holes everywhere!! I though it took the Papaya with it too, but as I was salvaging the wreck site, I found her under the dirt. Moved back into containers and hopefully they'll pick back up! Looks like I'm staying with 5 gallon buckets still :s So glad my clones/s2 haven't been dug up, I'll have to check my other spots this weekend I'm scared!

Here's two weeks ago- Papaya is the back-right and S1 is the front plant

Here's now :(

What should I use to deter these animals or do I gotta get the night vision and go Rambo on them?

You can go to the store and by deer repellent sprays. They have them for all types of animals. Lowes or home depot has them in the gardening section.

Looks like spontanica will recover. papaya looks dead. I'm gonna have to readjust my plan now.

thanks crfhonda, I'll look for some. Im pretty sure its a groundhog

Don't worry Biosynthesis, I got another mother and two clones of Spontanica 1. The clones are from this damaged gal, they are growing super fast and vigorous. The bigger clone is getting light depped starting in another week or two. The smaller one is getting CS'd.

The other mother is a bit more short and fatter (more indica). She's throwing mad pre-flower pistils right now.. 15 hours of light and no change since birth. (this is the one I used some Blue mystic pollen on about 4 calyx's)

---------------------
Always have a plan B! I'll post my spot 2 tonight

Sorry I havn't updated guys. I don't have a camera atm.

My s1 and papaya mothers have recovered. S2 mom has joined them. There all starting to perk up now and fill out. S2 is a very nice pheno so far

Spot 2 is looking fantastic! Took clones off my s1 clones, there going to spot 3 or 4. The 2 old s1 clones, are being joined with 2 papaya clones to be light-dep flowered.. One of each will get CS'd.

I also have my last WR and BM at spot 4. WR looks to be fem?(no hairs yet, so not 100%) and BM still isn't big enough to tell the sex.

Update time!

picture.php

Group shot, these are from spot 2,3 and 4..now only located at spot 2.
back row-White Rhino (m), S1 clone (f), s1 clone(cs'd f), Blue mystic(f)
front row-papaya clone (f), papaya clone (f)

picture.php

light depped-White rhino (m), S1 (f), S1(cs'd f)
I wont be light depping the papaya's yet, if at all. I want them bigger first and i want to see if the s1's work good or not being cs'd.

picture.php

Spontanica 1, Spontanica 2
s1, is starting to grow nicely. s2 is exploding, and is already as big as s1 and the branching is so tight..there's no lanky stems to clone.

picture.php

blue mystic (f), I just supercropped her. In a few days she's going with the s1 and s2 mothers.
----------------------------
I have a two clones of s1 and the papaya mother at spot 3

In a few weeks I'm going to start my last spontanica and papaya seed. Hoping for boys! Then maybe july 1st the 2 jack, and vintage 2006 fems....idk yet, i might save em'.

Thanks for the update. Are you gonna put the spontanica in the ground for a large fall harvest. I really want to see your potential. They are supposed to get big when you put them in the ground with plenty of root space. Doing good.
