the size of the cab is apporixmently 16 inches deep 3 feet wide and 7 feet tall...

That is just the bulb, he will still need the ballast, socket and wiring. If money is a concern a regular bulb without built in reflector is about half that price.

1000bulbs is a very cheap site to find your ballasts and lightbulbs on, fuck paying $90 for a light bulb.

Yes, did you check the link I posted above? Its a kit with everything you need, its the cheapest 400 hps I saw on their site.

yeah dude i checked your lnk my bad i was stoned and forgot i looked at it lmfao...

but shitttt thats alot of money...if i put it together my self will it still be fuckin 250 dollars or whatever it said... cuz damn.. thats alot kinda not on the budget.


and also 250watt hps i think would be okay in there, what do you guys think?

That 400W on Ebay looks cheap. I wouldnt buy that POS for $140 with s/h. Check out some online grow shops and youll find some better alternatives.

If needed you could get by on just 250 watts. 16" x 36" = 576/144 = 4' x 50 watts per sq ft = 200 watt lamp

400 watt hps would give you 100 watts per square foot. I have heard of growers using this much with success

Go to www.mdhydro.com If anything you can call them, they have good prices, shipping and service. Look at the digital ballasts and inline fans as buying right the first time will really help you out in the long run. Better product in the end.
