Growbox suggestions

wassup peoples, used to have an account on here but i forgot the password and it was inactive for a while.....anyways, to business.

I plan on venturing back into the wide world of growing, if i do it will be my 4th attempt(2 successful, 1 mildly successful, and 1 that was robbed [f!@#ing plumbers]) all of my previous attempts were in rooms (4x5x8 and a 5x5x5ft)
and this will be my first attempt at flowering in a cab/box.(dont have a spare room, and i rent).

the most optimum space i have for a mildly stealthy growbox is in a 37"x25".
This is the maximum floor area the box can take up. after coming up with a few sketches i got the square footage to be about 6.25-6.5 sq ft.
With a 400W light that i currently have this would give about 60 Watts per sq ft(im considering the bulb is kinda of cheap and probably less than 400W), which is good.....so far.

the biggest issue i think im gonna have is gonna be the heat. im gonna build it to about 42" of flowering space and add on an extra 8" for ballast, electrical stuff, carbon scrubbers(DIY) and fans.
the flowering space and the top portion will be divided by a piece of plywood. the fans are such that 1 blowing on the plants, 1 blowing on the light while it is on, and 2 pulling air through carbon filters to the exterior, there is also a vent on the floor so air can come in and holes in the plywood between the flowering space and the upper portion so aire can actually get to the carbon filters.
the fans will all be computer fans(i need to keep this fairly quiet too)..........and i think that is all you need to know for the questions.......(talking to myself)

Is the ventilation adequate enough to quell the heat?

if i ever get this thing planned out correctly(very close) ill try and post a DIY with pics n such

you can build your own inline fan look in the diy section they have a thread that you could use to build your own fan to cool your light.

I'm gonna actually update it today w/ harvest pics from my most recent grow (thunderfukinblockhead)

good luck

haha, i was juuuuust going to suggest an NGB box and refer you to NOKUY then he shows up.

quit stealing my thunder NOKUY

everybody is right in saying its basically gonna be an oven in there with only 2 PC fans pulling air through a scrubber.

If you need something really stealth (quiet at least) check out redgreenery's cab in the micro grows forum. it utilizes a 150w hps but according to RG its pretty quiet, its inconspicuous, and you can get plenty for personal smoke off it.

One of the weirdess grow boxes that I seen work was a gutted two door refridgerater, one that has a freezer on one side and the ice box on the other side. The person use one side for vegeing and one side for bloom and had 400 watt lights in each side and little fans running and had ventaltion holes and the white interrior was good for growing, I give you that the plants were the bigest but it was a grow box that could not be seen as one, and you could also use the flat bed freezer type, for small plants, what i did with my first indoor grown was used a walk in closet and use a refrig box to seperate the vege plants from those going into blooms. :joint:

The above plant was started indoors in a small closet...
