May I suggest using styrofoam board (1" or 2" thick) instead of wood to reduce chance of any mold issues. Great idea!

Its abput 800m³/h in 230V Mode. 400V Mode it is 1200m³/h.
The "Wood" is kind of laminated Plate, Id did never have had any mold problems ever usind this material.
Plus its venting my Flowering Room were I want to stay under 50% RH :)

@Chunkypics:

I used Glasses with airtight Lids and realy wet Bud. The Glases were put unto an Towel and stayed at the Radiator (to keep the Roomtemerature in cold Blackwood-Forrest) for about 7 day, opened an put on a paper to get fresh air and give away some Humidy for about 30min all day.
Then be stored without new air for 7 days @ ~35-40*C.

looking forward to see the rest of your DIY RO system .. so you are using 4 parallel RO filters ? what membrane are you using ?

Hey Guys,

here are some details about my ro-system:

I am using 3 10" filterhousings. first a 5µm PP-Filter, then a actice coal grain filter and last a active cole blockfilter.
5µm keeps out plagues and sediments, active coal kills all chlorides in the water.

after the Filtersystem, which is equiped with 2 pressure gauges to see if the filteres are still open or create a pressuredrop, there is a 36V, 2A pump that supplies the Membranes with a pressure of 8.6bar.
4 100gpd membranes are used parallel. They are fed trough a common 3/8" line. The clear/waste ration will be arround 1:1.2/1.5. The system uses 2 magnetic Valves, one to shut of the inflow, one for automatic flush after use (this is nessesary since we do have very hard water) to prevent the membranes from blocking.

The system should deliver 1L/min of clean water with less than 10µS/cm, thats why no Tank is needed. Mybe i´ll add a uv-sterilisation since i even drink and cook with this water...
