grow tent maximization

Hello everyone,
getting ready to start a new grow quite soon. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they think would be the best way to get max yield out of a 98x48 inch grow tent that is 84 inches tall with a 1000 dollar budget and preferably soil. thanks!!

small space calls for led or cmh or 400whps. hps is cheapest but with led or cdm and some diy you can go pretty cheap too. more light sources= less shadow=more light for the plants healthy and bushy grow. but less deep penetration in many cases.
1000bucks is enough cash for a 98x50grow space, no matter wich way u go...

400w hps, aircooled hood, ballast, timer. $500. a fan for the aircooled hood $150. $600.. seeds $50-$100.. dono if you want to get into meters (but $200 with calibration solutions) $100 left.. timers, oscillating fan, filter??? $1K is doable. Hand water $10 ?? automate?? $150, $1500 would be better... but it doesn't stop there... you'll need an extra bulb, an extra timer and extra ballast once you go into bloom... in veg not as important but they do need light. soil and nutrients can make you crazy...

vert is cheapest with 2 bare 1000's with cheap ballasts. 12" fan/filter OUTSIDE tent vacuuming out the heat and stink.

colosseum with 2 raised rows up 18- 24" and a row plants on floor that get removed for access during training and watering.
3 rows 8-10 plants in 7-15 gallons soil.

wow chunkypigs! are you using 2 1000Ws in one closet? what dimensions? 1000w in one 4x4 is a lot but ur using 2 so close together? crazy fattest "minigrow" i have ever seen, respect
i would propably throw a 400W in there and be happy (has to be stealth in some countries)

sounds like the grow tent is 8ft x 4ft with an almost 7ft ceiling?
I'd do just what chunky suggests and either 3 x 600 or 2 x 1000.
my grow tent im just harvesting right now is a 6x6x7 ice fishing hut I bastardized into a makeshift grow tent. Worked like a hot damn too.
I have a 940 HPS about a foout below a parabol reflector, passive intake with one small 6inch fan on the inside end of one of the intakes to blow air around. Fan directly below the light blowing air straight up. Exhaust duct right above the light attached to the center hole in the parabol reflector, ducted out to the fan unit. I'm running an inline centrifugal 450cfm. my cool air comes from an open window in the room and I vent out the door into the house.
sounds like you could easily fit 2 vertical 1000's in their with no troubles, fan under each one, exhaust ducting above each light.
