grow tent flower contamination?

Hey, I've noticed slight odours from my (new) grow tent before and considering the purpose of the sticky resin, is it possible these odours may find their way onto the resin of the bud? i don’t want to be smoking something that has been potentially contaminated by its environment. The tent is labelled AP2007 on the box and it is a negatively pressured tent with the fan blowing air out while sucking air in.

Thanks.

Sounds like you bought a Chinese tent - they don't give a fuck about the end user. The bastards treat their fabrics for clothes with formaldehyde to save wrinkling, put lead paint on kids toys because it's more profitable, & melanin in baby formula for God knows why. What does that tell ya?

I've bought two German made tents & neither of them smelled.

Rather than worrying about how it'll affect the taste of your bud, I'd be more concerned about WHAT it is & how it'd affect your health.
There is no acceptable level of formaldehyde in the human body & they use it on everything. Bastards.

It could be, i went for the cheapest tent on Ebay labelled: 96"x48"x78" Indoor Grow Tent Room Reflective Mylar Hydroponic Non Toxic Hut

factorydirectsale branding on the box but otherwise nameless

I dont detect the smell anymore but it might be covered up from the plants, i assumed it was just that fresh smell from new products after taking them out of the box.

But that doesn’t answer my question, will odours such as that find their way onto the resin the same way pollen does?
