grow space # plants

My grow space is 3'H x 1.5'W x 1.5'D. How many plants should I put in it? I was thinking 3 since somebody pointed out that with three seeds, I have a 12.5% chance of getting a female. I'm going to use a scrog. So how many would you put in there? I'm using CFL's all the way through. Total flowering watts will be about 165. I'm using a 120mm pc fan using all 12v @ about 90cfm for extraction if that helps. 8" x 8" dark room passive intake.

Hey Dream,

Here are a couple pictures of 3 plants that were grown in a space similar to yours... The plants were flowered n day 15 from seed. They got about 24 inches tall... The total number of CFLs was 8 @ 43 watts (150 watt equivalent) and they yielded just over 8 ounces...

You will WANT to FLOWER early... CFLs have poor penetration and should be kept 1 inch from your foliage...

I'd plant more seeds than 3 if they are not female seeds...

A 12.5% chance, whys that? I thought it was more of a 50/50 shot.

Yeah 50/50. With 2 seeds you have a 25% risk of getting all males, and with 3 seeds the risk is 12.5%
