hello there.

So I want to setup 3 grow tents, they will be veg/clone 4x4 tent Secret Jardin DS120 (120x120cm), flower tent Secret Jardin DR240W 4x8x8 (120x240x240cm), drying tent DR60(very small) and i need you to rate my setup. Because i want the best.
Lets start with details.

Grow tent for veg: Secret Jardin Dark Street120
Size:4x4x7 (120x120x180)
Light: Maxibright T5 Propagation light 4ft 8 tube = 8x54W = 432W
Ventilation: Vents TT100 Inline (187CFM, very weak but T5 means no heat)
Humiditifier included.

Flower Tent: Secret Jardin Dark Room240w
Size: 4x8x8 (120x240x240)
Light: 2x Blockbuster Air-Cooled Hood with SunMaster DualSpec 600W = total 1200W
Extractor: Prima Klima Twin Speed 150/170 = 620CFM controlled by Echotechnics Fan Speed Controller
Carbon: Rhino Pro Carbon A1 6"
Heater: 1200w Halogen electric safety heater controlled by Echotechnics Fan Speed Controller

Drying Tent: Secret Jardin DR60, when i harvest, i would connect this tent to the flowering tent, so flowering tent can take the air from the drying tent and filter the odour.

Gonna grow in: Biobizz All-Mix soil, using full-line biobizz nutes.
Pots: Air Pots - 15L for flowering, 10L for veg.
Clones: They will stain in Stewart Large Heated Propagator, gonna use Clonex for rooting gel.
I will also use rockwool cubes for the clones.

What I plan to do is:
Start with Power Plant, Blue Dream and AK-47.
Veg them, take clones, after clones have rooted, I move the vegged plants into the flowering room, leaving the Veg room with 10 clones in 10L air-pots with All-Mix.
1-2 weeks before Harvest, take more clones, put them in the propagator.
When harvesting is done, Move the vegged plants in flower room, and clones again in 10L air pots with biobizz all-mix.

Everything will cost me around 5000$ to get started.

What do you think of this setup?
:thank you:

Not a bad setup. I would do it a little differently myself, but you know, different strokes for different folks.

The only really glaring thing I see is the setup of the drying tent. I find it's much easier to have everything set and ready for your flower chamber. Changing ventilation with a bunch of plants around is a good way to make a mistake and snap a branch or drop a bunch of duct on your babes. Set it and forget it.

Your product choices also worry me. The Dark Streets are really discount brand style. Weak poles, thin fabric, shitty stitching. I guess it's okay for the Veg plants, but be really careful setting it up, you don't want to tear a corner trying to get it to fit the frame.

I don't know anything about Maxibright fluorescents. Looks like they are only available in the UK so I won't comment there.

Blockbusters are great, I love mine. What ballasts are you going with? I recommend a reliable brand, a ballast is not somewhere to skimp and get a bargain brand. If there is anything in your grow space to catch fire then the ballast is it. The risk is small, but it is present. I love Solis Tek ballasts at the moment.

The Rhino Filters are very similar to the Phresh filters, they use almost the same carbon. The difference being that the facility which produces this activated carbon gives the best stuff (sifted to a specific size) to Phresh first. Everyone else buys the left overs. The Rhino might be fine, but I'd go Phresh all the way.

If noise is of any concern your fan is going to be pretty loud. Consider adding a duct silencer/muffler to help with that.

Also, maybe a 2' drying rack for your DD60 would be handy to have, they aren't too expensive and it will allow you to use the entire volume of the tent more efficiently. Going from 32sqft of buds in the flower tent to 4 sqft of drying space is kind of gnarly and you don't want to "overfill" the space. You might want to consider an independent 4" fan and filter for this setup, I think it would be better than relying on your flower room to exhaust all that evaporation.

Don't forget your hygrometers and cloning supplies!

You may be surprised at how much heat those T-5's produce. I used to have a 4', 8 tube unit, and that beast gave off lots of heat.

If you're going to bloom in 15 L pots, you don't need to veg in 10 L. Way bigger than needed. I go from beer cups to 3 gal air bags with no problems. Just need to water carefully till they are fully rooted. Go heavy on root stim for awhile. If you veg in like a 4 L. you'll be fine. Good luck. -granger

Hello guys, sorry for missing so much time. Thanks for the replies.

First of all, after looking long time over the internet, I found out that most people recommend Lumatek Digital Dimmable Ballast.
I also like the Echotechnics Temperature and Humidity Controller.
It can take 2 fans and a heater. Also controlls humidity.

I've been looking at many websites, with good item offers.
After I mailed one of the websites, they told me that my order is big and they must deliver my order on a pallet, and they said this would cost me around 800$ only for the shipping tax.
So now, im really confused, if i should buy everything from one place, because some items I find cheaper on Ebay, but I don't know if it's better price(for the shipping) to get everything from one place, or get 60-70% of the items from one shop, and get the rest items cheaper from ebay, and pay shipping there also.

Please help,
Thanks

Yeah, shipping is no joke. But here in the states I can get a pallet from California to Maine (west coast to east coast) for less than $400. They typically start at $100 for local freight, and increase from there. There are extra charges for oversized things (4x8 trays), residential delivery, and requiring a lift gate to unload (cheaper if you're a business).

For $800 you could probably fly there, pick it up, rent a truck, and drive it home yourself with the added luxury of a little vacation.

Yeah, a little vacation wont be that bad. :D
And what do u think, lets say I can order 5 of the items from ebay, that will save me 200$ on price difference, but shipping will be separate, do u think that would save something ?
