Grow room design ideas?

I have a 12x12 room I have a 630 nanolux nc CMH, 315 Hydrofarm phantom and a 400W Apollo MH I have a 4x10 area under the lights. 400 CFM outtake fan, 120 CFM intake. Each light and fan is on a timer. I have one oscillating fan and plan on grabbing another today due to heat stress on some of the plants. I have an auto-pot set up with a 110 gallon reservoir unfortunately they did not send the reservoir and the main tubing so I am waiting on that. I have a low ceiling unfortunately, 6' so I am going to have to flower within the next month I believe.
PS: This is my first time flowering Indoors have started my outdoors in tents early but never flowered. Looking for light upgrades for next run feel free to comment ideas. I am thinking 3 630 CMH's but I do not want to get the nanolux again due to the ballast being directly connected to the light, the light hangs about a foot off the ceiling...
I am away for work during the week so I grabbed the auto pot setup to avoid watering issues while I am gone.

You mentioned heat. With 400 cfm exhaust and 120 intake, that's to be expected. You need more intake, like 400 cfm. Good luck. -granger

For future planning: With limited head room I'd recommend a greater number of smaller lights rather than a few big ones. Bigger hoods will generally give a better spread with less hight, but give less even spread than a smaller, more directed hood higher up. COB LEDs could be used quite well in this application if you wanted to go that route.

Are your hoods air cooled with or without glass?
Heat removal is a complex topic. If you want things cooler, try to set things up so there are fewer feet of ducting and use insulated ducting. Insulation on hoods can made a huge difference (the hood picks up radiant heat, and that surface area on top puts heat back into your grow room even if air cooled).

Pulling more air through a hood will not cool it much more. It's a situation of diminishing return. The most efficient way would be to pull just a little air from each hood through smaller ducting (less surface area) and then have a second larger fan venting. Then add a bunch of fans in the room to keep things mixing.

I don't understand why so many people run forced intakes. If you are shooting for a negative pressure room (most people are so they can control smell), then just work on exhaust. A large passive intake is sufficient (put a hepa filter on it).

Sorry I can't give you specific numbers on anything, but there are so many variables that some trial and error is the only way to really figure a room out.

I was debating going led due to less heat, more height but thought CMH would yield better. That very well could be my way to go.

The 315 could be air cooled but is not at the moment. The temperature is 78 degree f. I'm not to concerned about smell, my buddy just told me I want higher outake than intake. I am thing abut swaping the 400 as the intake for now. The intake fan is currently blowing cold air in, into the row of lights. I was hoping this would allow the plants to grow a little higher haha maybe a bad idea?

So what your saying is 3 small out takes from fans and 1 large intake correct
