Late this afternoon, the Police Department released four photographs taken at a house in Floral Park, Queens, where investigators discovered 10 lawn bags containing dried marijuana leaves, along with 300 live plants and lights and other growing equipment that they said was used to cultivate marijuana inside the house.

The discovery was made by the Street Narcotic Enforcement Unit of the 105th Precinct in Queens. Officers with the unit were “on routine patrol” on Tuesday when they came upon the house, at 77-12 269th Street, near Union Turnpike, the police said. They secured the property while other officers obtained a search warrant.

Around 1 p.m. today, the police executed the warrant and recovered the plants, bags and equipment. The police are questioning three individuals, but did not identify them this afternoon.

What i'm trying to say is i'm sure he didn't have a window open with HPS light and bud smell coming out. The cops must have broken the law under the catch all of imaginary "probable cause" or some one told the cops about him. either way 300 is a big jail time number on the east coast.

Also notice he's using soil for that extra touch of magic where hydro would have produced more quicker.

It looks like they were growing in straight perlite. Its interesting that they're "questioning" three people. Small house. I'm thinking its a rental, maybe under fake names, and they just filled the house trying to go big, as someone said.

The more I look at those pictures the more amazed I am that they managed to fit all those in that place, must have been real tightly packed in there.

Looks like a CO2 burner right at the back there too - interestingly no ventilation/filtration equipment but I imagine thats all still in the house.


edit: If it was electricity theft which is quite likely given the size of the operation then that's really stupid, they dont deserve to get caught (nobody does since that risk should never even exist) but it makes me wonder if these guys have had their head in the sand these past few years - almost every time I hear of a grow bust its either due to electricity theft or fire, both easily avoidable.

If these people are guilty of larceny, then they would be paying fines, community service, a few months in county AT THE MOST!
