Able Caba was arrested after attempting to mail a package out of state that contained marijuana.
The incident started when 32-year-old Able Jay Caba attempted to mail the package from a shipping center in Sandy on January 18th.
The shipping center clerk noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the package and called authorities.
The clerk told police that Caba had signed a waiver before being permitted to mail the box that allowed the shipping company to inspect the contents.
With the assistance of a Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputy, the clerk opened the box and found more than an ounce of marijuana stuffed inside a doll.

Police were able to use the shipping and return mail address to track down Caba at his home that night.
Caba told police that he wanted to send the marijuana to his father, 54 year old Arthur Griffith Caba who lives in Arizona.
Police searched Caba’s home and found an additional 95 marijuana plants, dried marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Caba did not have a medical marijuana card and was arrested.
The case was turned over to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office.
