If you're located in Vancouver-BC then I'd hazzard a guess that you'll find grow books at your local grow and smoke shops. Other than that you can buy them online in places like Amazon.com I think tower records sells grow books too.
It is up to you, but there are many grow book's, you should find which is the better one for the money.
Amazon.com has a few book's listed. Growing bible by Greg Green was put together with alot of help from those on the net and is well written.
Jorge Cervantes book " the indoor bible" is another nicely written book with solid info in it.
There is another I found much use from and got off amazon.com, " MJ grower's handbook" by Ed Rosenthal. I think this is one of his better book's and has good information in it.
That is about all I can give reference to as those are the only one's I have boughten.
Support the cause, buy your books from the Marijuana Party of B.C.'s store on Hastings Street. I think you would enjoy checking the place out, they have a good book selection as well as most of the supplies you would need for your grow including several lines of nutrients. They have an online store >>> Right Here <<< where you can check out their stock.
WOW, thanks gopher and all. I think ill check that store out on Hastings...where exactly is it, is there a bus that i can take to get there...skytrain??
why waste money on a book? you can learn everything you need to grow online at great sites like this. ever been to Over Grow or any other quality grow sites(i think this one is the best though).
although if you live in BC, i would definitely check out the Marijuana Parties bookstore.
They are nice to read, see what is in them, but most all the time you will find that the info has been updated on the site's, some what is said in book's as you read it you instantly say, " that is not true, or that does not work well" as you learned on the site's about it. I have found many book's, many are repetive of each other and the information with a few different picture's, but that is about it.
I to own Jorge Cervantes book, and it is good, if not now, later it will be.
I have just ordere indoor marijuana horticulture by Jorge Cervanes, and european cannabis cultivation by Mel Thomas who writes for "weed World" Im also gonna get myself the special collectors edition of Jack Herer's book, "The emporer wears no clothes"
There are some great books, mag subscriptions, even Cannabis Cup DVDs available at amazon.com (previously mentioned here). "The Cannabis Grow Bible"* comes highly recommended (BOG likes it). Here is a list from their site: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...BX77EC8TE/ref=cm_lm_lists/103-7936771-3011801 If you would like more info about "The Cannabis Grow Bible" go to: http://www.cannabisbook.com/contents.htm . This author (Greg Green) has another book, "The Cannabis Breeder's Bible" that also sounds good, but I'm not sure if it has been released yet.
