grey panda film?WTF?

I opened a roll of Panda film today and one side was black, the other was gray. I mean grey or blue grey. I have an old roll of panda (white/black) and the difference is like night and day. reminds me of a grey tarp from home depot or camping

WTF did i get a defective roll? Did they decide to change it and the grey is better?

like silvery gray?

yes, kind of silver gray but its not shiny. The black is shiny and slick to the touch, but the silver is dull and not slick to the touch

I was thinking flat white is suggested alot, so I thought maybe the gray was a new thing. But I believe the film comes from NGW and there site still shows it as black/white

I did hang it cause I had no choice and needed to seal the room. Worse comes to worse, I'll just hang some white up for reflection.

I have a roll like that. still trying to finish it. it doesnt seem to affect reflectivity too much, although its hard to tell. it still says 95% reflective on it so i went with it. no complaints so far. Really kind of a shocker when you open it huh?
