Greenhouse? Sunroom? Solarium? What constitutes an indoor grow?

There is a huge difference in plant numbers between outdoor growing and indoor so I am wondering if anyone knows what conditions constitutes an indoor grow as opposed to an outdoor one.

A greenhouse is a free standing structure that mainly uses its energy source from the sun but what about 3 season or 4 season sunrooms?

What about an insulated workshop with clear roofing?
If it has walls, is it considered indoor or just the fact that it has hydro and supplimental lighting?

Does anyone know anything about this?

a real greenhouse is indoor. outdoor is a literal guideline forcing plants to flower w a greenhouse type structure is still outdoor, peace, d

Thank you DMT:thank you:
So if I built a solar greenhouse with one part insulated and added supplimental lighting, it should be considered an indoor grow.
I suppose it is best to check with our government but they don't even have the basics down yet .
I was wondering if anyone has tested this out yet ; using another building besides the 'home' to do an indoor grow which uses natural light.

This is something worth investigating for sure.

Waa hoooo!!

YES accoring to the source (HC) as long as your building, whether it is a sunroom, solarium or green house, is a solid permanent structure, it is considered INDOORS!!!!!

my friend built a greenhouse out back because his benevolent brother wanted no kind grown in the house. he used a shed out back one winter then went into the brand new greenhouse that summer. he grew veggies and fruits too, d

sorry I missed this earlier but I have heard of some others doing this quite successfully also
Taking the roof right off of a shed and replacing it with something that lets the light in.
I've started a greenouse idea thread for anyone interested
