I agree with rose. Not only are the daylengths getting shorter, but light intensity is also in decline...that is unless you are living in a equatorial area. I am in the NE USA, and I know that a greenhouse would not work where I am, now.
That may work, but do not get very high expectations. Plants typically like to be left alone, and the wide variety of conditions that you will be subjecting them to, along with the reducing intensity of the sunlight, will result in low yields.
Darkhalf where in the world are you? im in the uk we are already below 12/12. I germinated and planted a auto white russian in the greenhouse 14 days ago and its doing suprisingly well considering it dont get over 18C in the day and drops to 3-4C at night with less than 12 hours light per day (and falling). I got a few 6-7 footers in the greenhouse aswell so im not bothered about how much the auto yeilds. just wanted to see how late in the year I could push it.
