Our camera is currently not working or we would have a picture for you but we are using the exact soil mix below, along with the full bonticare line for soil and on the feed water water feed. side note this is our first full indoor organic grow. They've only had 1 feeding of Pro Veg and Liquid Karma.

We germ'd 4 feminized seeds 4 days ago place them in the soil mix they sprouted aday later, gave them their first nute/water right before we place the germ'd seeds in the soilmix, watered 3 days later. Just checked on them theyr sprouted and looking good bud the severly disturbing thing is a green buildup has occured on the top layer of 2 of the containers. It does not completly cover the top but it looks like it could. 1 of the plants sprouted before the rest and looks amazing and has no green buildup on the soil. The perlite is taited abit yellow from the nute/water mix don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I know it is very hard to diagnose a problem without a picture, but any help would be fantastic. The color of the green mold or buildup or whatever the hell it is, is abit lighter then a traditional pine green.

LC's Soiless Mix #2:
6 parts Pro Mix BX
2 parts perlite
2 parts earthworm castings
Powdered (NOT PELLETIZED) dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix.

the green indicates that the soil is to wet....or maybe the inviroment??
you should poor little less in and you should dry it out longer....maybe you can lower the lights a bit so the topsoil dry's out better....
you just have to go tru the topsoil with ya fingers to remove it..Once it dry's out it won't return :2cents:

yeah I would consider that mold too, anything that is growing on my soil, that is not part of the plant would concern me

I had some clones I neglected for a week with feet full of water and the humidity dome on, I had spiderweb looking beards on the tips of the leaves. I would have taken a pic if I was not so concerned about them.

its deinfently algea, i have a similiar post in the organic soil section, i did spot literally a square mm of mold, rest was algea. I put the -0 light NVG on tonight(flowering tent is in the same room as the closet sprout/veg chamber) and just checked, thanks to your repsponses in this thread earlier i washed my hands througly and dug through that ditry green shit and they look good. NVG's are mil 40X, needless to say we get a clear view 12 minutes till i see if the green glow of my mil past was fooling me.

thanks so much b 1 down
