This is what I will be buying soon... Please give me some feed back if you owned any of these?

CAP PPM-2a Fuzzy-logic CO2 Monitor & Controller 120V $459.90
OdorVent OV20 Refillable Carbon Filter System 15x15x8 Space $269.90
Vortex 8 inch Inline Fan 747 CFM $189.90
DeLonghi DH100PSRB 40 Pint Pump Dehumidifier $199.00
Green Air CD3LP Liquid Propane 3 CU.FT/HR Co2 Generator $289.90
1000W Evolution Digital Ballast - 120V $429.95

--------------------------------------------------------------------

ALREADY HAVE:
400w MH/HPS veg..
1000w HPS w/ hortilux bulbs..
dayton 465
Aircooled hood.
2 heavy duty timers...

What Im planning on doing is sucking in air from outside with the blower, running it throgh my aircooled hood, and exhausting it under the house...Keeping the room sealed.. since the dayton will always be running when the lights are on it will share a timer with the lights..

the CO2 genrator will be ran by the fuzzy logic controller and of course will only be ran during lights on,,

the Vortex and the carbon scruber will run 24/7

and finally the dehumidifier will only run at night and be controlled by the other timer...

Diagrams...

i have a greenair cd-6, i dont like the pilot light very much. it creates heat, humididty, and co2 during the dark cycle, besides just wasting alot of propane. if i was to buy one new i would go with the blu-ox, it has a glow system rather than a pilot light.
i got the matador controller for $900 canadian, very expensive but very easy to use and the shops dont seem to be getting any back for repair, but the caps do come in once in a while.

Plug’n’Grow has a really nice CO2 generator. Not sure who has them. Maybe bghydro.com , but the pilot light is electric so it does not stay lit

hey captain bigbud: i used to run my CO2 gen LP(propane) like yours with a repeat cycle timer, it was on 17 minutes each hour in 2 cycles of 8 1/2 minutes. it didnt seem really to change much from doing it without CO2.
now i know better... that chart is nonsense, old technology. i learned that i had to seal my room and get a co2 moniter so the room really has the amount of CO2 in it that the plants need (up to 1500 ppm CO2)
now the difference is unbelievable. i wasted so much LP :( when i did it on a timer

Nice setup you have planned out there. Hmm plans.. :chin: those would have been nice.

Just my 2c but you might consider trying to collect that water instead of letting it go under the house.

Point is water under the house can make things buggy..termites. Ahhh those minni langoliers. CF

Hey bandan,
What ya cooling things off with? Even air-cooled hoods radiate heat. I use super sun hoods outfitted with flanges and glass, the metal stays whatever the temps of the air moving through them is but the bulb radiates heat, plenty on the 1k through the glass. I got a 10,000 btu window unit that keeps everything nice and chilly. If you shop for ac make sure it has an auto restart feature should the power blink off/on your ac will restart.
And hey, that's one cooooollll avatar man.
Your plans look great, now to set it all up and run a grow through there to work out the bugs.(no pun intended)
Peace

I have the CAP Fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic works great with bottled CO2, but I would guess that you will have to disable it for use with a burner since the on-off output is far less precise. I may be wrong, but I don't think that burners should be cycled every 10 seconds, and that is what the Fuzzy Logic will try to do as it approaches your set point.

I have 2 of the evolution ballasts and eye hortilux bulbs.. been almost 50 days of 12/12 and all is fine.

I have been reading a lot about e ballast failure but they were mostly with lumatek ballasts.

Do you have yours running yet?
