Well fellows I have been long overdue for my grow journal so here it is, or at least it is a start. I have a few more monster plants to get pics of but my camera didn't upload them correctly so I'll get some more tomorrow sometime.
I am growing outside in soil. Some are in pots and some are in ground. My soil mix is just whatever I had laying around and what I could afford at transplant time.
Veg soil mix:
Leaf humus
Horse manure compost
Peat moss
Promise mp
Perlite
Gypsum
Vermiculite
Sand
Local soil (clay heavy,)
Topped off with compost from my bin after they got going good.
Transplanted into ground and or bigger pots(30+ gallon) a few weeks before I thought flower would start.
Flowering soil mix:
Everything in veg mix plus:
Compost
More perlite
More vermiculite
Silica base sand
Worm castings
Ff ocean forest
Kelp
They are being fed molasses and Neptune's harvest fish and seaweed and that is it...they seem to love it so far. And watering with rain water
I'm a firm believer in mulching the top of my soil ith whatever I can find. This year I'm using string algae from an old swimming pool. The plants seem to love it too lol
I tried a few different styles of growing this year. But u will have to wait for the rest of the pics to see that. Enjoy!!! And I can always use some help so let me know if u see me doing something wrong
